The Ripple is a great graduated toy for beginners and advanced users alike! While I bought it for beginning use, I think this toy still has so much to offer that it could be a fun toy to have around for an advanced user, as well.

I think this toy is best used for anal play. It has a flared base, so you're safe in that regard. It can, of course, be used for vaginal play as well. Some people do find this toy a bit difficult to keep in, both vaginally and anally. For me, though, I had no troubles keeping it in, but it just depends on the person's body. The flexibility of this really does make it more comfortable for anal play, as well. Over all this is a great butt plug for anal play, especially for beginners as an introduction to anal play.

The material of this toy is 100% silicone. Silicone toys rate a 10 on Eden Fantasys as far as safety of material goes. It is a non-porous toy, as well as food-grade material, latex free, phthalates free, and hypo-allergenic. Silicone is a great toy material also because it can be sterilized! Pop this baby into some boiling water for about 3 minutes, or even in your dish washer! This toy has little to no odor, but if there is a slight smell, it goes away after a few washes.

Even though silicone is a safe material, I still recommend using a condom if this toy is to be shared, or switched between anal and vaginal play.

The texture of this toy is really not what I thought. It's very smooth, slightly sticky, but VERY flexible. This toy bends into almost any shape you want. Maybe even a bit TOO flexible. I felt at first like it would not go in anally because of how squishy it is. But since it is a bit sticky, this toy is a lint magnet! It attracts the smallest of things, so washing before, and of course after, would be best for this toy.

What I do like about the texture of this toy, though is it's very comfortable once you have it inside of you. It doesn't hurt, and it's really great for beginners because it's not intimidating. Also this toy is harness compatible! Great for couples who want a toy to begin with.

The shape of the Ripple is a gradual anal plug. It starts off with a small bead and gradually gets bigger to the bottom of the toy at the flared base. The base is, of course, nice for anal play. Safety first! This toy will not be getting lost inside of you accidentally.

I really like the gradual design of this toy, which really gives it even more appeal to a beginner in anal play. The soft texture, and the gradual beads really allow this toy to be non threatening and easy to adjust to. With some lube and relaxation this toy really does fit easily into place, and comfortably, too. It is a bit smaller than I thought, but I seem to never be able to tell from pictures on this website. It's small, and flexible, which really makes it a good discreet toy. You could bring this along on trips, easily. If someone sees it, of course they will immediately know what its use is, but in a little package this toy can go along with you anywhere.

I really liked this toy as an intro to anal play. It's not an intimidating toy, and the gradual design makes it easy to become accustomed to. When my boyfriend and I first received this toy, we were very excited. We've never even tried anal with anything before, so it was going to be quite the experience. We usually don't use lube, but in this case we had to. The toy was a lot smaller than we thought it would be, and a lot squishier! But it ended up being a really great thing in both cases. The toy went in a lot easier than I expected once I relaxed. The smooth texture along with the lube, and the gradual increase in size, really allows this toy to work at a comfortable rate. I never felt over powered by this toy. When the toy was all the way in, I had no trouble keeping it in. I read that the toy did not stay in very well, so I was a bit worried, but for me, no issues. Must have a lot to do with body type.

When it came time to take the toy out, it was easy! It slid right out with no discomfort or drag. The lube really did its job!

Silicone is very easy to take care of. You can sterilize it! Pop it in some boiling water, or on the top rack of your dishwasher. You can also just opt for the simple warm/hot water and some anti bacterial mild soap. Because this toy is such a magnet to anything linty, I suggest giving it a quick run of warm water before use.

Because this toy is silicone, do NOT use a silicone based lube. Water based lube is the only one you want to put on this toy. Silicone based lube will permanently damage the toy and make it a super tacky texture. But this toy is latex safe, so condoms are great to use on it if sharing or switching between vaginal and anal use!

Storing this toy is a bit tricky, but not so much. I use the original packaging, but you can use almost anything. A toy box, to a little case, to the original casing! I would just keep it away from as much lint as possible, as it seems to pick almost everything up.

The packaging for this toy is fairly simple. A flimsy plastic box, with a space matched with the toy in the box to hold it. The toy sits in between the mold of the toy itself in the middle of the box. I kept the box to store the toy in because it's small and perfect to keep the toy in, since it's obviously made for the toy. The package, though, is not discreet at all. It's clear, so the toy is in pure view. I wouldn't suggest using this as the storage if you're looking for something more discreet.

This toy is really nice. It's a great toy to anyone's collection. I enjoyed having such a simple and non intimidating toy to use for my first anal experience. It felt really great inserting it, and I was never bothered by anything when using this toy. It felt really great, especially when you get to the larger balls to the end of the toy. I liked the fact that it was so bendy; it really made it more enjoyable.

Just a small amount of lube on this baby, and it was good to go. I enjoyed my first anal experience, and I loved having it with this toy. Really hits the right spots.
