I’ll be the first to admit that the incredible intense HOT pink color of the Rombee dildo is what caught my eye at first. After all, I am a pink loving woman. After reading about the Rombee, I realized that it had many of the things I was looking for in a dildo: good size, right material, vaginally or anally friendly and don’t forget, my favorite color--this is how I roll. So I purchased one to give it a good try, and try it I did! We “rolled” together several times that first night and again in the shower the next day. I was a happy girl.

The hot pink Rombee measures approximately 7 inches long overall, 5.5 inches of that is insertable and has a circumference of about 4.5 inches. The diameter is 1 3/8 inches so it's a good size to be used vaginally or anally. What intrigued me before I first used it was that it is comprised of four rounded ball, or bubbled shapes, instead of the usual straight shaft of many dildos. The hand end has an open finger hole to hold it by and a small hooked thumb rest on top of the finger hole. But truthfully, the thumb rest is too floppy to be of much use in that capacity, but that doesn't in any way distract from the fun, usability of this product. The finger hole is a great help in holding the dildo when you or it is covered in lubricant. Another thing I like about this is the weight. Unlike many dildos made of other products, this is not heavy enough to make your hand, wrist or arm tire too fast, yet is weighted enough to give it some “oomph” and let you know it is there when you are using it. For women like me, who love the action of thrusting hard, the Rombee is often a good ‘fit’ as it can easily be felt hitting the cervix and bringing about intense arousal, but is not so firm as to cause cervical pain.

The Rombee is 100 percent pure, high quality, medical grade silicone, safe enough for use inside the human body in almost any capacity. Silicone is one of the best materials for sex toys in my opinion. It is always nonporous, therefore it is hygienic and easy to clean with antibacterial soap and water, dishwasher, sex toy cleaner, boiling water or bleach. The only downside is that it does tend to pick up and hold dust, lint or hair but that is easily rinsed off and thus you should store your Rombee in perhaps an individual toy storage bag where it does not gather such things. It is Phthalates free which is a growing concern with people lately. Top quality silicone is anti-allergic or hypoallergenic for most people and less inclined to cause any sort of reaction other than “Oh that feels so good, do it some more.” Silicone is also soft, almost velvety, flexible yet extremely strong and durable. Also I found upon opening my Rombee when it arrived, it is odor-free, and that is a huge plus. And on a more personal note for those that might ask, it does not have any sort of taste as well. Other good things to remember with silicone products in general and more specifically about the Rombee, it warms up to body temperature very fast and retains that temperature. When playing with my Rombee, I found if I set it in warm water for only a few minutes, it warmed up and maintained that temperature for a long while before cooling. Likewise, it worked with cold water as well.

As stated earlier, the Rombee is also appropriate for anal use but use plenty of water-based lubrication, not silicone-based lubrication. Also, go slow with insertion since the head end of the dildo is not graduated or tapered but is bluntly rounded, all four of the balls begin the same rounded size.

The Rombee does have a very slight seam going down the middle of it, but the one I purchased had a seam that was almost imperceptible and made no difference in the look, use or feel of the dildo.

In playing with this, I discovered that I had several bullet type and egg type vibrators that fit very well within the finger loop of the Rombee and since silicone transfers vibration so well, I could easily feel the vibrations from the bullets all the way to the head end of the dildo. It was a very pleasing discovery. But what surprised me was that when using it in this way, that little thumb rest above the finger hole jiggled and wiggled so much that it became a sort of clitoral vibe itself.

It has been a few months now and I have to say that the Rombee has made it into my bedside 'go-to' toy box (as opposed to the larger toy box on the other side of the room). It gets used regularly and that is due to it's design and versatility. If I ever destroy it (unlikely since it is tough) I will buy another one. Yep, I like it that much. Am so glad I purchased this.
