The Flexi risqué silicone is an anal vibrator from California Exotics. It’s great for powerful pinpoint stimulation and great for anal players who prefer less vibration in their anal play. It will work well for intermediate to advanced players, but probably not the ideal for beginners.

The Flexi is made with smooth velvety silicone and a plastic base that is also covered in the same material. It has a great feel in hand, but the satin finish will collect lint so you may need to rinse it off before use.

So far it doesn’t seem to hold any smells aside from the typical silicone smell you would expect.

This anal vibrator has a fairly typical probe shape with a not very typical base. The probe has an insertable length of about 3 ½ inches and is about 1 ½ inches in diameter at its widest point. The diameter of this toy is great for giving the user a nice full feeling and is great for intermediate or advanced anal players, but may be a bit much for beginners.

The base is where this toy really takes a turn away from most other anal toys. It has a wide, round base that measures about 3 inches in diameter. Herzer has a couple of great pictures to give you an idea of the size on the product page. You’re not going to have to worry about this one getting sucked into places it shouldn’t be.

I would have preferred a lower profile base for this toy. If the neck would have been a bit longer and/or the base not been so big this toy would have stayed in place hands free. As it is, the toy does not stay in place without being held there and it slides out way too easily for my tastes. This may not be a deal breaker for you, but I prefer anal toys to stay in place without me holding them the entire time. The wider-than-normal base does make it a good toy for sitting on, but I don’t sit straight up too often when I’m playing with toys.

It’s also worth noting that there is a groove where the neck of the probe meets the base which makes this toy not a good one for sharing with others. Read the Care and Maintenance section for more details.

The Flexi is loaded with features. It comes with 10 functions of vibration, pulsation, and escalation. It also has powerful pinpoint vibrations at the tip of the toy, is water resistant, and has a flexible shaft that allows the toy to move with you during play. The toy includes your basic high, medium, low settings of vibrations as well as 7 other varying patterns of pulsation and escalation. It has everything from slow and rumbly to fast and buzzy.

As I already mentioned, the toy is great for pinpoint vibrations. It is quite powerful at the tip of the toy and travels throughout the body of the toy fairly well. I was pretty excited when I first powered it up in my hands, but when using it anally I was surprisingly disappointed. I assume it’s because it doesn’t contour with my body well, but the vibrations do not feel nearly as strong when inserted anally. The tip is still powerful, but when it’s inserted the tip isn’t really connecting with much of my body. If you sit on the toy the vibrations do improve, but still not as powerful as you would think from holding the toy in your hand prior to play. Admittedly, I do like my vibrations on the stronger side, so this may not be a deal breaker for you. If you prefer a medium to mild vibration level this may be a match made in heaven for you. For me it just didn’t quite meet what I was expecting from when I first turned the toy on outside of my body.

This toy is only water resistant. It works well in the shower, but I would not suggest submerging it in water. I found some moisture under the battery cover (but not actually on the batteries) around the edges after using it in the shower.

The Flexi risqué silicone uses 3 AAA batteries (not included) and is operated with a simple push button located at the bottom center of the base. One push turns the toy on and each additional push cycles through the various vibrating patterns. Pushing and holding the button in for about 3 seconds will shut off the toy.

Cal Exotics made this product with silicone, registering a 10 on Eden’s safety scale. Silicone is a great material for toys as it is dirt and bacteria resistant and is very durable when it comes to friction. Silicone toys can also be used for temperature play since they retain heat well.

Silicone can be disinfected with soap and water or toy cleaners. The packaging says this toy is waterproof, but as with most every other “waterproof” toy, this is only water resistant. For this reason and because of the vibrating parts inside, I cannot recommend boiling this toy or putting it in the dishwasher to disinfect it.

Now for a word of caution. Although silicone is easily cleaned, this toy is not. Because of the design of this toy, there is a groove where the flexible neck meets the base that cannot be sterilized. It can be cleaned well enough that I have no fear about using it myself, but because that groove is a potential hot bed for germs and bacteria I cannot recommend sharing this toy with others. If you like to share your toys with others, I would suggest you find a different toy. This one is probably not for you.

Water based lube should be used with this toy since it is made of silicone and you will probably want a lot of it since this toy is slightly on the larger side. I would also try to avoid this toy coming in to contact with other silicone toys when storing it. Different silicone toys can sometimes melt together with other silicone toys when they are stored in contact of each other.

The Flexi risqué silicone comes in your basic plastic clamshell packaging with an informative insert that tells you all the important info about this product. It is not at all discreet and anyone who looks at it will probably know immediately that this is a sex toy. The insert covers all the pros of the toy, but there’s not much reason to keep the packaging after you open it. Feel free to recycle it.

While I wasn’t wowed by the Flexi ’s performance, I was happy with the quality of the toy and think it will work great for some people. It’s a solid addition to any toy collection. I tend to prefer toys with stronger vibrations that can be felt throughout my body. This toy just doesn’t hit the right spots for me, the neck is too short, and the base is a little wider than I would prefer. I think this toy would work great for intermediate to advanced anal players who prefer less vibration in their play, but like that full feeling from their toys.
