Tush trainer intermediate sex toy review
Even with the short remote cord, the Tush Trainer was enjoyable if not earth-shaking.
The size, shape, and feel are all signs that this toy is meant for someone with at least a little experience in butt play and not beginners.

Pros
Strong, quiet vibes.
Cons
Short remote cord.
I wanted to like the Tush Trainer Intermediate vibrating plug|Tush Trainer Intermediate Butt Plug. I really wanted to. It’s cute. It’s pink. It’s swirled like an ice cream cone. It’s jelly and has a remote control. What’s not to like?
At first inspection, it all seemed promising. The vibration is nice and super quiet. It dials up from a light rumble to a decent buzz that won’t give itself away under the covers. The batteries and controls are in a wired remote attachment, which should be great (in theory) for changing the intensity with one hand while I continue doing what ever else I’m doing with the other.
In moving ahead from theory to practice, my other suspicions were confirmed. My eyes are bigger than my butt. This is not the fault of the toy, but a big reminder for me to check the dimensions carefully before I pick a butt toy in the future. It didn’t appear much bigger than other toys I’ve tried, but a quarter inch can really make a difference.
Other than size, there are more reasons why this is an intermediate toy. The Tush Trainer doesn’t have as gradual an increase in size as some other plugs. It starts out pretty wide and stays that way for most of its insertable length. Where the plug decreases at the neck wasn’t dramatic either, which made it less willing to stay in place once fully inserted. Because it’s made of jelly rubber material, I assumed the toy would be a bit softer. The bullet vibe buried in the center of the plug works against the squishy jelly texture, and instead, the toy is solid and heavy.
As for the promising remote, the cord is too short to have in one hand with the toy in the other. The battery housing isn't waterproof, so I worried about gunking it up with lube. I pretty much turned it up on high and let it fall to the bed after a few minutes of trying to maneuver with both hands.
Overall, the Tush Trainer Intermediate was enjoyable, but not earth moving. The 'intermediate' part of the name is dead on. It's not the biggest thing in the world, but is certainly more of a challenge than a beginner to butt play|Anal Beads and Butt Plugs would be ready for.

Follow-up commentary

Now that I've had the Tush Trainer awhile and had a bit more practice with anal play, I've come to appreciate the toy more. The vibrations are delicious. The bullet vibe takes up the entire space inside plug, so the more-than-decent buzz can be felt over every inch.

I still say the cord is too short and it still has a mind of its own when deciding whether or not to stay put once inserted, but the Tush Trainer has become a favorite tool in my toybox.

I've picked out toys before that were much bigger than I had thought they would be. :( It sucks.
