The Up and Down Anal Pleaser is designed for anal use. It has 3 rows of metal beads similar to what you would find in many rabbit vibrators but instead of rotating, the beads move up and down the shaft.

As the toy is fairly large, I would recommend it for people that are experienced with anal toys or have warmed up with another one.

When I opened the plastic bag this was sealed in, I was hit with a very strong odor. The material is made out of rubber, and this is the source of the smell. Highly recommend to give it a good wash before you use it and even air it out for a few days. The smell lessened but did not go away. I left this out to degas when I left for deployment and came back after 5 months, and the smell was almost gone but still detectable.

It is made out of rubber with a very smooth texture, which with some lube slides easily. Due to the nature of it being rubber, the use of a condom is highly recommended. I bought this toy before I had read up on the safety ratings of the various sex toy materials, but the smell that this product emitted was a giant red flag that I shouldn't insert this without a condom.

From the tip to the flared base, it measures 6.5". The tip measures 7/8" wide. It widens gradually over 4 5/8" to its widest point. The first row of beads is 2 3/8" from the tip with 1/2" between each row. At its widest point, it has a 2" diameter, which is wider than most toys. After the widest point, it narrows to 1 1/4", which is where your anal sphincter will be around when the toy is fully inserted. It has a wide base which is 4" x 2 1/4", ensuring that there is no way this thing can be lost into your cavity. The total length is 7 1/2".

The cord for the controller enters into the toy 3/4" up the side of the base. This is an odd placement for the wire, as it means the wire will be pressed into the side of your butt cheek when fully inserted. It also means that any fluid might work its way into the inner workings of the toy through the wire hole if the seal becomes loose around it.

The wire is 30" long and feels very flimsy. With the cord being a little short, I am afraid of sometimes moving the controller too much for fear the cord will either snap or pull out of the base.

The controller is 8 1/2" long, as it needs to be able to hold 4 C size batteries.

Previous to this, the widest toy I had used was 1 1/2" wide. A toy with a 1 1/2" diameter has a 4.7" circumference. A toy with a 2" diameter has a 6.2" circumference. That extra 1.5" in the circumference makes itself readily apparent when inserting this toy. This is probably more suited to someone who is more experienced with anal toys.

Due to its size and shape, it is not discreet.

The beads each move 3/8" up and down the shaft. While this does not seem like that much, with 3 rows and the spacing, you get almost 1 1/2" of up and down movement. Despite many websites stating that it vibrates, it does not say that on the package at all and does not vibrate. The only function is the up and down motion of the beads.

The controls are a simple rotary dial. All the way down is off, while all the way up is the maximum speed. With my unscientific counting at full speed, it is going at 240 RPM, so 4 cycles a second. At its lowest speed, it seems like it's about half that.

When not inserted, the toy is fairly quiet. When placed 4 feet from a door, I could not hear it on the other side. When inserted, you can barely hear it at all.

The motor has some fairly good strength, which it should when being powered by 4 C size batteries. I did not see the motor stop from pressure until the batteries I had were just about spent.

The toy is rubber, so is fairly resilient. It is compatible with silicone and water based lubes, though I have only used water based lube with it. With it being rubber, a condom is recommended.

I would be careful when rinsing it off, since I am dubious on how well the wire entry hole will hold up to a lot of liquid. After use, I rinse it off, rub it down with anti bacterial spray, and rinse it off again before letting it sit out to air dry.

The clear portion around the beads has become tinged with a slightly yellow color, much like plastic does when exposed to too much sunlight.

For storage, I used to leave this sitting out to try to get rid of the smell, but I store it in a gallon zip lock bag since the smell is almost gone.

The toy is packaged in a cardboard box with the backside of a male and female on each side. The instructions were fairly basic.

The packaging cannot be used as a gift or storage box.

I have to comment again on the smell this toy initially had because it was so strong. I washed it off with water and anti bacterial spray and left it out for almost a week before I even considered using it. The smell is now almost gone 7 months after purchase and 5 months of no use just sitting to air out.

I like the function and design of this product but due to the material used and the extreme smell it had, I am only rating it with 3 stars. If someone made a product like this out of a safer material with possibly even more beads to go up and down, I would buy it in a heartbeat

There is a conundrum with the Up and Down Anal Pleaser. With it being so large, one might want to use more lube to aid in insertion. The only problem with that is with too much lube, the sensation from this toy is greatly reduced. So you have a trade off with difficulty of insertion and with the final results. I have tried this with plenty of lube to get it inside easier (which is still hard due to the width), but then I couldn't really feel anything. I have tried it with just the lube from a lubricated condom, but that was definitely not enough, as I found out after pulling it out that the condom had completely ripped and had settled around the base. Use just enough lube to where it can be pushed in and go slow for best results. It would probably be easier to lube a smaller plug or dildo and warm yourself up with that first. Due to the size, I've had to place it on a seat and then lower myself slowly on it.

The best position I have found for this is sitting on a firm surface. When you squeeze your muscles around the Anal Pleaser, it actually feels stronger. If you squeeze it with your hand, you can see why. When you just turn it on with no pressure on it, the only movement you see is the beads moving up and down. Place the base on a hard surface and grasp the beaded area and now you can see the entire toy thumping up and down. Imagine that inside of you. They probably made it so wide so that part is pushing against your sphincter when the toy is in use. If it was narrower, it would probably have a much more difficult time staying in.

If you use this on a softer surface, some of the movement is translated into the base. With the base on a firm surface, all of it is directed into you. The beads line up well with my prostate, and every time they go up, I can feel a little jolt go through me.

I have tried this while lying down in a bed, and it did not work as well for me.

This is definitely the largest toy I've had inside of me. The morning after each use, my butt has felt sore. Either from the size, the motion of the toy, or both. If you can handle inserting the size of this without a lot of lube (the first time I used this, it took me 15 minutes to get it in), once in, this toy can be extremely enjoyable.
