These Lelo cuffs will appeal to those seeking a more sensual BDSM experience because their appearance is so beautiful as well as the use of soft materials in the construction. Don't be mistaken however in thinking they are not potentially hardcore cuffs. The materials are soft against your skin, but the cuffs are very sturdy and they do fully restrain you.

The metal clasps are had to get out of by yourself, but you could get it after awhile. It would be better to count on your partner freeing your wrists. A plus of the clasps is there's no key to potentially get lost!

The chain is not very long, so it will be good for chaining to a headboard or other nearby object. It could be too short to cuff arms behing a back if you aren't very flexible.

The design of these cuffs was well thought out. The materials are soft and just thick enough to give your wrist some cushioning to hopefully keep any bruising or injuries from occurring. There is no chain around your wrist, just fabric and a metal clasp. Where the chain connects to the cuffs it has the ability to rotate and the middle of the chain is again fabric, to protect the furniture in my opinion.

The problem is the size. I read the previous reviews of this product and they were all glowing, so when there was a sale I decided to treat myself. I've wanted cuffs to experiment with some light bondage but I have a bleeding disorder, so anything not super padded would leave embarassing bruises. When I went to try the cuffs on I could hardly fasten them they were so tight, and once fastened the metal clasp was pressing into my skin with such force that I could barely get them back off. I experimented with moving them slightly up and down on my wrists above and below the wrist bone but nothing helped. They were cutting off my circulation. Nothing in the other reviews had mentioned such a sizing problem. I could understand if I was a larger woman, but I am 5'7" and weight 135lbs, and have a small frame. There was no possibility at all of trying them on my boyfriend.

Unfortunately, the product did not meet my expectations due to the sizing problem. Had they fit, I would have been satisfied with the quality of the product for the price. The quality of the materials and the construction techniques suggest that they would last a long time barring the ribbon portion of the chain breaking.

Since I didn't have a chance to use this in the bedroom, I can't totally speak authoratatively on this topic. However, my instincts from several decades of doing my family's laundry suggest that the silk and suede construction are going to show any liquid stains and you won't be able to do much to clean them other than to blot them and hope for the best.

Lelo packages everything beautifully! The outside packaging has pictures of the item and is somewhat standard. Inside there is another black box that is quite lovely, and when opened reveals that it is lined with what looks like rice paper that is very textured. The cuffs are laid out inside this lining. The black box is heavy duty in its construction and will serve you well for storage.

If you wish to give it as a gift, the inner black box is a bit more appropriate, but the outer box is also suitable.

The experience was disappointing. I thought I had finally found some cuffs that would work for myself and my boyfriend and were designed in a way that wouldn't scratch my bedframe. The most positive part of the experience was that of course Eden stands behind their products and I was able to return them for a refund even though the package was opened.
