The smooth premium silicone is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, phthalate free, heavy metal free, and odorless. The silicone provides equal distribution of sensation to the receiver and is great for power exchange during play. The total length of the Pelt is 11.6". The oval shaped paddle length is 6.5". It is 3.25" in width and 0.25" in thickness. The handle is 5.1" in length and measures 1.75" in width, 0.5" in thickness. The weight of the Pelt is a total 1.7 oz. I personally like the design, but the handle thickness and shape becomes a little awkward after long periods of use; I wish it conformed to my hand better. There is a good sized hole in the end of the handle if you wanted to hang the paddle.

This was my first experience with a silicone paddle, and from the moment I took it out of the box it was mailed in and held it in my hands, I expected an intense experience. My preconceived notions were right, the pelt definitely is not for the weak of heart. If more intense pain is your pleasure, you will really like it. The silicone delivers smooth, sharp smacks with little effort and quickly left my lover's ass blushing bright red with pleasure. This paddle exceeded my expectations and opened up the world of silicone paddles for me in a very positive light.

Caring for this one is a breeze. You can boil it, bleach it, or run it through the dishwasher. I would recommend storing it in a toy bag or in its own container, because it will pick up lint and dirt.
