I give the light BSDM kit|Beginner's bondage fantasy five stars because it's an incredible value and because, if used for what it's designed for, could last a very long time. This kit is a great idea for beginning or even intermediate BSDM players|The play arsenal of BDSM who don't want to or can't spend $400 on leather wrist and foot cuffs, bondage bed sheet|Bondage bed sheet set, and a spreader bar|Spreader with triangles.

It's not entirely clear from the description, but this kit features 4 soft cuffs for wrists and ankles permanently attached to a long (44") nylon web cord that can be tied around bed posts or the legs of a bed. The cords do not have hooks at the end. However, I found that, if you measured the length right, you could tie all four cuffs to the four legs of a standard metal mattress frame--with the added bonus that the cuffs and cords could be tucked in under the bedskirt and between the boxspring and mattress when not in use. It's a very discreet and more affordable alternative to under-the-bed restraints! You could also get creative using additional rope and loops to create other configurations.

I can say that even though I am in the 97th percentile in terms of strength among women and I pulled incessantly the few times I let my girlfriend tie me up, they only came undone when they weren't properly fastened, and I never had a problem untying the knots afterwards. If these cuffs can restrain me when well tied at appropriate lengths, then I think they caneasily restrain any woman and most men. That said, my girlfriend is quite easy to restrain and I use the set for that most often. Perhaps if they were used to restrain me frequently, I wouldn't feel as confident about their durability. You still can't beat the value, though.

The cuffs are soft and don't cut into wrists or ankles. The blindfold does the job, but my girlfriend says the strap feels too tight after a while. I personally think a silky scarf is a sexier blindfold--and it can add to the tension if you can vaguely make out forms sometimes.

Are the straps on this easy to tie to the bedposts securely?  I would think the nylon cord would be slippery...

They are actually quite easy to tie securely with a very simple knot. The webbed cord/strap provides ample friction to make it secure. I tied all four to the legs of a basic metal bed frame with two simple knots (the second one was for added security), and they've stayed in place for about two months without additional adjustment, despite lots of pulling by my girlfriend.

Nice review :)  I'm impressed that they are as strong as they are!

Were they comfy?  As far as pulling against them, struggling, etc?

They are definitely comfy! Again, I don't know if I can stress too much what a great buy this set is for those interested in trying out some light bondage.
