These heavy duty leather restraints are used to cuff your wrists to your thighs. Restraint play gives the submissive (who is restrained) pleasure in a heightened sense of touch along with gathering trust in their partner's dominance. This type of play, also associated with BDSM, brings excitement in one's ability to let go of the touch sense and enjoy play without having control. I am a LOVER of BDSM and am in a submissive role almost all the time (stories for another day). Restraints should be used when trust and communication are strong in a relationship. I wouldn't recommend this being the first restraint toy you purchase/use if you are a beginner looking into this play. Advanced users will greatly appreciate these wrists to thigh restraints.

I found the design of these restraints to be VERY VERY well made. I would expect these to last quite some time! The stitching is strong throughout and no fraying. Overall they are made of heavy leather and bound with smooth rivets. They are stiff at first. I recommend that they are bent and twisted around to loosen the stiffness of them. Both (wrist and thigh) belt (restraint) buckles are made of a thick metal adding weight to the restraints (a personal favorite). These buckles do not have locks. However, they do stay on tight when in use. Once shaped as a cuff and buckled in place the inside of the cuffs has a softer padding, which I wish had a little more cushion. It was soft enough that I didn't feel any pressure points when on.

Starting with the wrists cuffs, they felt comfortable on and did not slip off during play.

~The overall length including, what I call it, the belt "overlay" (where the holes are for the belt buckle) is approx. 15 inches.
~Wrist padding is 10 inches long by 2 inches wide.
~Belt overlay is approx. 5 inches.
~Smallest cuff (that I could get) diameter is approx. 6 inches. This is because the padding on the inside of the cuff hits the buckle itself stopping the padding from moving.
~Largest cuff diameter is approx. 9 inches.
This overlay gives you more circumference if your wrists do not fit into the cuff padding once it's rounded. There are 9 holes to buckle on to, maybe 5 of them you won't be able to use due to the padding hitting the buckle. The holes are approx. 1 1/2 inches apart.

The wrist cuff is secured onto the thigh cuff by a swiveling "pin," I guess is the best way to describe it. They do not detach from each other and you can not visibly see or feel the "pin" inside either cuff. The wrist cuff can spin in a complete circle. It does not spin off.

~The thigh cuffs are just a larger version of the wrist cuffs. They have a total measurement of 28 inches.
~Thigh padding is approx. 22 inches long by 2 inches wide.
~Belt overlay is approx. 6 inches.
The smallest thigh cuff has a diameter of about 5 inches, and I was able to get it on the smallest hole. There is not an issue like the wrist cuff where the padding hits the buckle.
~The largest thigh cuff has a diameter of approx. 7 1/2 inches.
~The thigh buckle has 10 holes, and they are approx. 1 1/2 inches apart as well.
~There is also a metal D ring on the thigh cuff that you can use to connect both thigh cuffs together.

A connector was not included in this package. I can recommend you either rope, snap links (or any metal hooks), or my favorite double ended snap hooks.

I was very impressed with how these cuffs held up. Like I stated above I really believe these will hold up for a while. To be honest, they really went beyond my expectations. They did not slip or move once they were in place. Even sweating they didn't move as much as I thought they might have. The only other thing I could think of in regards to other applications for these is if the thigh cuff does not fit around your thighs, maybe you can use them around your calves. Again measure before you buy.

To clean these, I would only use a toy cleaner wipe or spray. Don't submerge these in water. The leather is really tough and doesn't seem to be porous, but I wouldn't chance it. I kind of (I hold my breath saying this) wish the cuffs came apart just for storage purposes, but I'm okay with it. Honestly, if they did, I bet they wouldn't hold up as good as they do.

Poor packaging. They just came flat in a plastic bag. No literature or information. I'm not a fan of the poor packaging. Make it presentable; it's much more appealing.
