Kitty spank-her - paddle by Ruff doggie styles - review by MidnightB

I was really excited to receive this from Eden, as its my very 1st paddle. I enjoy BDSM and have a few whips but as soon as I saw this kitty, as a cat lover I fell in love with her.
Not only is she so feminine and unthreatening, she is puurfect novelty for any cat lover, girly pink-lover, dominatrix, cat woman or simply anything fancy dress.



When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the kitty even though I knew how tall she was, she still is very impressive when you first lay eyes on her.
She arrived very simply with no plastic bag or packaging just rested in the box with a wonderful aroma of leather and suede, its so erotic and such a shame it wears off so quickly.
As I picked her up I was also surprised at how substantial and well made she felt in my hand at only half a pound in weight. She is not at all scary compared to some spankers available on the market.

The Kitty Spank-her paddle is made by "Ruff Doggie styles" and has a great versatility; she is skillfully designed and is an adorable silhouette of an elegant cat sitting down, with her tail dangling into a J shape; forming the purr-fect handle (sorry had to be said).
She is 14" inches long; 5" inches wide.

She comes with a small elastic collar which the sales tag comes attached to so you keep it on her if you love the more cutie look.; but will hurt alot more if left on.

Kitty's front is a beautiful pastel pink padded suede and the back a thick black smooth leather. There is a 3rd layer of leather between these to hold a flat metal rod running up through the tail to the middle of her chest to give the paddle real rigidity, the rod stops at her chest allowing the head a little more flexibility needed for spanking, but not much.

She has black embroidery for her nose, mouth and whiskers, ears and paws giving her the gorgeous feline features, the eyes are a white plastic with black embroidering to form her pupils and eyelashes; I'm impressed at how lovely this detailing is.



Use
The paddle fits very comfortably in my small hands and also in my OH manly hands, which is most the time...ouch; as her padded suede tail is 5 3/4 inches long and she weighs approx 1/2 pound and is a perfect weight to get a great THWACK with little effort.

This brilliantly designed kitty/paddle has many aspects so don't let this endearing, cute pink kitty lull you into a sense of security.
The lovely long length and the 2 complete opposite textures to her gives her a great evil and angelic side.
For foreplay the soft suede front allows you to stroke and smooth over the skin awakening your senses, turned over you have a huge contrast between warm soft suede to the smooth coolness of the black leather; giving quite different erotic sensations and is purrfect inbetween spanks to soothe sore hot skin....you are so going to need it!

The spanks
I would say basically that the Suede gives 80% of the hit compared to 100% of the leather.
The suede side absorbs the bounce and gives a more thuddy Thwack; whereas the leather has more bounce off and is very, very stingy and smartie.

Head
When using her head (as a cat lover this feels so wrong), it is slightly more flexible than her body due to not having the flat metal rod all the way up.
Depending on how hard you are spanked you may get temporary cats eyes indentations on you bum cheeks. Turn her over and use her evil side; and feel the sting from the harder bouncier leather.
If you are Thwacked quite hard you will have a whole cats head indentation in you bum cheek depending on the force of the spank of course; quite amusing.

Chest
Being such a long paddle you have a larger surface area to cause some real hard spanking. The length covered both my bum cheeks at the same time and despite being slightly more padded than her head, it still gives a hard thuddy thwack; but turned over evil black-leather kitty can give "one hell of a sting" a huge comparison to her suede side...and...I thought the suede side hurt..oh boy!
I have recieved some real bruises from her leather side.

Tail
A nice touch from "Ruff Doggie style" is that as Kitty doesn't come with any hanging strap you can simply turn her upsidown and hang her by the tail.
A gorgeous ornament no one will know what she really is.

As cute as she is; this kitty is not for the feint hearted, you can get alot of force for very little movement because of the metal rod down the middle preventing any flexibility. But the pain inflicted will really depend on the giver; beginners can have a nice slap or for advanced a hefty full force Thwack.; be very aware this can cause bruising if used hard.
Beginners shouldnt take this adorable toy lightly and for that I will say she is more intermediate to advanced users; unless used by someone experienced.

I found I really enjoyed alternate Thwacks from suede to leather, this way I was able to take heavier thwacks on the leather side, by having a breaks in between with the soft suede.

For those that love the red marks and indentations shapes this paddle will leave a lovely silhouette of the kitty or just her feline eyes; she certainly left her lasting impressions on my bum cheeks; I was bruised for a few days.

Something to be very aware; the spank-er must not accidentally hit the victim using the corner of kitty's head as it has no give and is quite sharp; the spanks should always be given flat on the leather or the suede side. Seriously In case of fire you could keep this kitty by the window the corner of her head could actually break glass.

Quality
The excellent build quality of this paddle I feel will stand up to a lot of abuse with the support of the metal rod through the centre, but I have noticed the black leather on the back has started to crease slightly at the neck with our hard use.

Cleaning
Do not get your kitty wet; you know they hate water......!
Any lubes, oils, liquids will damage the suede so try to use the leatherside if using these. A suede cleaner can be used if she gets grubby.
I use antibacterial wipes on her leather side and allow her to dry.

I still love my Kitty Spank-her, although I do find it quite difficult to clean, but it still remains a firm favorite and still delivers a delicious thuddy thwack.
I definitely feel the kitty set is something special to collect and keep on display in your bedroom, it's so beautifully feminine,and I'm proud to own the whole set.
