Packaging - This paddle is just hilarious! It comes packaged inside a thick clear plastic (Mylar type, I have no idea what the material actually is) bag. Inside the bag you see the pink kitty paddle. Around the kitties neck is a black string that is tied into a little bow. Hanging off of this string is the manufacturer tag.

On the front of the tag is a naked woman in black and white, covering her breasts in one hand, and holding the glowing pink kitty paddle in the other hand. On the back of the card is a little gimmicky sales pitch about the paddle. The only informative information that is listed is that this item is “Sold as novelty only”, and “Manufacturer assumes no responsibility”.

I am not disappointed that there are no instructions as there is not really a need for them, but I am not very in-the-know with cleaning leather and suede. A few words on this topic might go a long way in extending the life of this paddle, especially since it seems like a paddle that might catch the eye of someone who is not already an experienced BDSM flogging connoisseur.

The Paddle – Don’t ask me why, but even though the little card said this paddle was 12”, the first thing I did after opening the bag and removing the paddle was to measure it. Turns out the Kitty Spank-Her is more realistically clocking in at about 13 ½“… not too shabby! After finding an adult to help me untie the string from around the kitties neck, I began to thoroughly examine this ass beater.

The bottom of the paddle is smooth black leather. The top, where you see the kitty cat, is pink suede. From the side view you can see 2 thick pieces of leather (each a little under ¼”) sown together. In between these two layers is some kind of a support rod that runs from the middle of the tail up to the cat’s chest. This paddle is very sturdy! The only thing that I have noticed so far that is slightly weird is the curl in the cat’s tale. If you are right handed and plan on hitting with the cat side, the handle is a perfect and comfortable fit. However if you plan to hit with the black leather side, you have to grip the tale lower and more loosely. I really doubt that this is going to cause any problems, but it was something that I noticed and thought about.

After doing a really quick search of Google, I found out that there are some specific ways of going about cleaner these materials, especially the suede. Depending on what you are doing, how often you are doing it, and to what extent you do it, you may not ever have a cleaning issue (or you might be searching on Google for ways to get blood and semen off of pink suede) who knows.

I ended up with this paddle because my wife and I share a liking for cats, the color pink, Hello Kitty, cutesy stuff in general, and she also happens to be very interested at the thought an occasional merciless ass paddling.

So to start with… I thought that I would pour half a bottle of Wesson cooking oil all over my wife’s nice and round ass, (like in all of the big booty cinema that I enjoy so much) while she patiently waited on her hands and knees for the absolute high lord and commander of punishment and physical discipline… the Kitty Spank-Her. Well my wife was all about every single aspect of this plan, except for the Wesson cooking oil. Hey, don’t hate the playa, hate the game!

This was really my first experience with this kind of a situation, but my wife was a pro since she was really bad in elementary school. I started out with the pink, suede, kitty side of the paddle. I hit her a few times; everything seemed to be going just groovy. I then decided to flip the paddle over without telling my wife, to see if she could tell the difference… she could!

It seems like the black leather side is the side you should be using. It made a way louder “smack” sound, and it seemed to be a lot more “punchier” in its delivery. We continued on using the black leather side of the paddle for the remainder of my wife’s ass beating.

Some of my observations are probably obvious to anyone with experience, but since I have no experience, here goes… If you hold the paddle loose and mainly snap with you wrist without using your arm too much, you get a pretty good and loud hit, (he paddle hits the skin, makes a loud smack, and bounces off). If you grip it tight and swing with your arm (using about the same force as with the wrist) you get more of a deep thud that seemed to penetrate beyond the surface sting.

I mixed it up a bit, hitting different areas in different ways, (including a few spots that seemed to be “out of bounds”). But overall we had a lot of fun. After we were done using the paddle I tried to put my wife back in her cage but she wasn’t having it. So we settled on a little afternoon delight instead.

The paddle is still very cute, and it is holding up very well. It act as a wall ornament most of the time, but it does occasionally come down to play. This paddle may very well be the 'gateway drug' into more BDSM activity for my wife and I; since we had such a good time playing with it. :)
