The chain is metal and fairly sturdy. The collar is neoprene with velcro, although feels more like nylon to me. I would have preferred leather or even faux leather with a buckle. The clips are not very tight which can be good for costume play. The clamps themselves have a rubber or plastic covering to protect from sharp metal edges which is definitely helpful. You can also adjust the pressure to be even lighter if needed.

For a true BDSM toy this is a beginner one and probably more suited for costume play. If you want something more painful for a truer BDSM experience, then look for something a little stronger. I could easily put this on even the most sensitive parts of my body with little issue.

There is limited cleaning to be done, although it is not stainless steel so you may need to oil it on occasion and be sure that it is dry from salty sweat. Be careful, the rubber tips fall off fairly easily.

There is minimal packaging. It came to me in a clear cellophane wrapping.

This will be nice to spice things up. You could even wear it out to dinner underneath clothing for that extra special spicy night out on the town.

The clamps did stay on larger nipples fairly will. Even when I put them on me they stayed on and I don't have large protruding nipples.
