I See A Little Light, But No Evil

See No Evil is a super flirty and fun little piece to add to your playtime. It's cute in appearance, but functional in design. Because it's adjustable, it will work for a variety of people and is easy to use. The quality is really nice, the feel is great, but it does make your face get pretty sweaty. If that's something you can overlook, this is a great product to try!

Use

The See No Evil Blindfold by PicoBong is a part of their accessory line designed to turn your foreplay into a fun and flirty adventure. This and the other pieces in this line, are trendy and light BDSM items and are marketed toward younger couples and those that are young at heart.

This blindfold can be used in and out of the bedroom, in a variety of ways. For foreplay, it's a great tool to use to help heighten your senses. When you block your sight, your other senses kick into overdrive to make up for your inability to see. You pay more attention to sounds, your sense of smell picks up things you otherwise might not notice, and most importantly, every little touch feels like you're going to explode! Pair up the blindfold with the cuffs, feather tickler, whip, and collar to complete the collection and set your foreplay on fire!

Even before making it into the bedroom, you can use this blindfold for some sexy fun! Blindfold your partner and lay out some chocolate sauce and fruit to entice your lover with some sexy treats. Make it a game and give them a prize every time they smell or taste and guess right, and a little punishment when they're wrong. It's not hard to take a simple item like a blindfold and turn it into so much more! Be creative and come up with your own games for even more sexy fun!

For solo use, this blindfold can be worn while you sleep to keep out the morning light. It's soft enough that it won't irritate the delicate skin of your face and stays in place well even if you're tossing and turning all night.

This isn't intended to be used for heavy play, it's meant to be used as a light, fun, and flirty addition to your foreplay and love making.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

See No Evil is made from Neoprene and is available in black, blue, and pink. The Neoprene is a very durable material that isn't easily damaged by being tugged on or twisted. This is wonderful considering this item, and the others from this line, are light BDSM pieces and often are subject to some abuse.

The fabric itself is only a little bit stretchy, feels a little squishy to the touch, but is soft and comfortable against the skin. The feel of the material reminds me of what the inside of some bathing suit breast cups feel like. The blindfold is very flexible and can be folded and manipulated easily, making it travel friendly and compact for storing.

The front of the mask features four rows of squares (38 total) that are sewn onto the top of the fabric. The stitching is through the fabric and can be seen on the inside of the piece. Though you can see it, it can't be felt while you're wearing it. The squares are padded and come to a slight peak in the center of each (which sticks out 1/4" from the front of the fabric). The purpose behind these squares? Perhaps it's supposed to be a fashion statement? Either way, it doesn't really add to the way this blindfold works, but it does match the other items in the line. They are interesting looking and add a nice touch to the piece, but don't truly serve a purpose.

Front And Back texture

The blindfold itself is designed like any; larger areas to cover the eyes, a thinner area in the center where it goes over the nose, and a band that goes around the head. It's designed this way so that it fits comfortably with the shape of your face and lays flat on either side of your nose, eliminating as much light as possible. The areas that go over the eyes are each 3 1/2" tall and approximately 4" wide. The area that goes over your nose is 2 1/4" tall and is approximately 3/4" wide. 8 3/4" makes up the front of the blindfold, and has a 2" band. The full piece is 26" long from tip to tip.
Front and Back full

The fit of this piece is adjustable thanks to the velcro closure which takes up 3 3/4" on either side of the piece. Though it's adjustable, it holds strongest for those who have medium sized heads (21"-23" around) since the velcro will overlap the most. While it will work for those who have much larger and much smaller heads, the velcro won't hold as strong since it's not overlapping as much. This should fit most people, but there will be exceptions, even with the fact that it's adjustable.

The velcro holds quite well and no amount of moving around during your sleep or blissful struggling causes it to come off. It might shift depending on your struggle, but it doesn't fully come off. While it does stay in place well, it also is easy to put on and remove when it's time. Directly next to the velcro on one side is a small tag that has the company name on it. This is the only marking on the blindfold.

The overall stitching on the piece was done quite well, especially the stitching with the squares. It's completely even with no loose threads and seems like they paid close attention to quality. There was one small place that the stitching wasn't perfect and it was near one side of the velcro. The trim is stitched a little funny in one spot and doesn't look as neat as the rest of the piece. It doesn't look like it will fray and doesn't take away from how it functions, but it's worth noting.
quality check

The fabric does pick up a little bit of lint, but not much and is easily wiped away. There was only a light scent when this item arrived, and I'm assuming it had to do with the packaging.

Performance

This blindfold preformed okay in general. While it's a good fit and nice quality, it doesn't block out as much light as I was hoping it would. You have to have a really thin nose in order for it to fit nice and flat against your face. It's only a minor issue though, considering your eyes are usually closed with the blindfold over your face.

(my head is 22" around and it fit perfectly)

The big issue I have with this blindfold is how hot and sweaty it makes your face. I'm not sure if it's the type of material, the thickness, or what it is, but this makes my face sweat like crazy! Even after only wearing it for a few minutes I notice my face getting hot and uncomfortable. This might not be an issue for everyone, but it was bothersome to me, especially when I want to focus on what my partner is doing and not how sweaty my face is.

Care and Maintenance

Caring for this blindfold is really simple! Neoprene can easily be cleaned with water and a cloth if necessary, and it shouldn't need it often. You could probably even toss this into the washing machine and hang it to dry if you felt it was necessary. According to Eden, "neoprene has a closed cell structure, no dirt will penetrate into the material." Great news since it's something that is always in close contact with your face.

Storing the toy is easy since it folds so well and doesn't need to be stored in any special way. It can be tucked into a toy box or drawer without taking up much space, and is also great for traveling. The design is fairly discreet since it's obviously an 'eye mask', but the strange pattern on the front might raise an eyebrow if someone were to see it.

Packaging

The packaging for this item was the oddest I've ever seen. It's a bright blue, plastic, inflatable package. Wait, what? Yes, it looks just like a pool toy! The front of the package is clear and has the company name at the top. The blindfold can easily be seen through the package and the cardboard background behind it shows a silhouette stream of their other products. At the bottom of the cardboard it shows the company website. The cardboard piece can easily be removed from the packaging if you so desire. The back of the package has a little sticker over the slit where the blindfold is removed from. The sticker gives only the very basic information about the product. That's it for information. Once you remove the sticker, you have to remove the cardboard piece to get to the blindfold. The bottom center of the back is where you can blow up the package. It only blows up the little squares around the outside though, not the whole thing.

The package isn't discreet, but it doesn't scream 'sex product' either. It would make a fun, youthful gift for someone, especially when paired up with their other accessories.

The packaging can be recycled with your other plastic items, or you can try to find an alternative use for it because it's really not great for storing the blindfold.

I guess Neoprene's closed cell structure doesn't afford for much breathability. :/ I didn't even notice they got this one in black.

    Thanks for the details!
