My partner was very leery of being handcuffed, blindfolded, and at my mercy. The reason I chose this kit was because it seemed like a perfect beginners' kit. I was right; this kit is great for beginners.

It is a soft purple, a lavender actually, so it was easier for me to convince my boyfriend to let me try it out than if it had been made out of an intimidating leather. The blindfold does its job and keeps the lights out. The elastic is not too tight, and it fit both my head and my partner's perfectly.

I tried the handcuffs out on myself before I tried them on my partner. My wrists are not tiny, and the handcuffs fit me perfectly. The keys to the handcuffs are tied to the handcuffs with some white string. You can undo it if you want. Personally, I didn’t want to take the chance that I would handcuff my partner and then lose the key. They are sturdy handcuffs, but they will not hurt your wrists; they are covered with soft purple faux fur. They did seem a little snug on my partner's hands, but he didn’t complain.
