Shhh - headgear by Bijoux Indiscrets - review by OhMy!

Let's face it - nothing's more fun than games in the bedroom! And what better way to start than with a nice versatile blindfold!?

While Shhh is a simple, soft, extra-long black silky blindfold with "shhh" imprinted on one side, and "ooooh" printed on the other. this is no ordinary blindfold. Its extra length allows you to also tie-up your partner's hands, wrists, ankles, or legs to chairs, doors, stools, or anything else you want to restrain them with! Since it feels nice, travels well, and is so multi-purpose, it's perfect for couples looking for a versatile item to spice things up in the bedroom without breaking the bank.

For an inexpensive non-silk blindfold, Shhh is actually constructed quite well. Ours arrived with no mis-stitched seams, excess fraying, or stray stitching. The fabric feels nice to the touch, and has held-together quite well...despite the abuse we've already given it! (wink, wink)

Contrary to what the product information says, this blindfold is NOT 7". Ours is 82" long. That's right - 82"! Even when folded in half at 41", it's still a generously cut. Since there are no clasps, velcro, or any other closures, sizing really isn't an issue. Simply wrap the item around the desired area, tie a knot (or several) and you're ready to go! This ensures the item that can fit around your head, feet, wrists...you get the picture. In fact, if you bought a couple of these, you'd have a versatile set of light restraints to keep the kink going all night long in any room in the house!

With straightforward items like this, it either passes the test, or it doesn't. Shhh holds-up quite well to light BDSM and sensory play, and is silky to the touch. The only thing that affects your comfort is how tightly you tie you knots, and what you tie your partner to! Ae we mentioned earlier, this is so versatile that performance is really hard to measure - you're only limited by your imagination!

Care and maintenance are ridiculously easy, really. We usually toss it in any drawer to store it - and don't even bother to fold it up! And whenever we want to use it, we can pull it out easily for play time!

Cleaning is just as easy, and we typically wash this after every use. Simply pop it in a garment bag in a gentle cycle with cold water, and you're good-to-go! This keeps the wear and tear down to a minimum, and the cold water ensures the dyes won't bleed. We've had ours for a while now, and it still looks brand new!

Packaging for this item is really, really minimal and somewhat discreet. In fact, you'd almost mistake it for a package of panty-hose! This is a nice change from a lot of the heavy plastic or over-boxed toys, and it obviously recycles easily. If there were instructions included in the packaging, we didn't notice - we were too busy playing with it!

All things considered, this is a great addition for the price! What better way to spice things up than with a quality blindfold/multipurpose sash like this one? If you're wanting to take things a bit further, it goes well with the underbed restraint system, which we've also reviewed and frequently use with this blindfold!
