The Shhh blindfold is made to be used to keep your partner in the dark. But little did they know that it can be used for much, much more. I have discovered that after tying the blindfold around your partners head there's still plenty material left to bind their hands together, or just to tie it in a nice bow.


Now if you have another blindfold you prefer you can still use this one as a Silk Restraint System to tie your partners hands or feet together. Or if your the kinky type and into BDSM play you can use it to bind your partners breasts (female of course). In order for this to work properly your partners breasts need to be of a nice size, or if their small enough around the chest you might be able to wrap it that way.


Oh and ladies... if your looking to plan a nice romantic night for your partner why not try this. Take the blindfold and tie it like a tube top around in front of your breasts (going across your nipples) and make a bow in back. If your not coordinated enough to do that, like me, you can tie it in front and slid it around. This will be a nice surprise when your partner walks in the door. It's cute, sexy, and makes them go "Hmmm", or "Mmmm".

I love the design of this blindfold. The sash design allows this item to not just be worn on the face but it can also be used to bind your lovers arms, hands, legs, or feet. The febric is sinched up a few centemeters in the middle to allow a place for your nose (or your partners). I would rate the craftmanship of this item very high. When I pulled it out of the box I didn't see any stay threads, the fabric wasn't frayed, and the product overall was put together very well. The Shhh blindfold is made from a very soft silk material, and the words are screen printed on both sides. The size is pretty much a one size fits all. The blindfold measures a total of 7 feet long and 2 3/4 inches wide.

When I first used this item I would have given it 2 stars on performance, but after using a few more times I now give it 45 stars on its performance.


Now here's why I would have rated it so low at first. The silk would not stay tied, and it kept coming loose. After having to tie it over and over again we got tired of using it and just put it to the side. With me being as persistent as I am I would not let that be the end of it. So we tried it again, this time we double knotted it and it stayed put longer; we also tried double knotting a bow and got the same effect. Since it's made from silk it's not going to stay tight 100% of the time, but it will stay tight enough so that it doesn't slide off or let your partner peak through it.


You can also wrap it more then once around your partners head, this works well to keep it in place but it covers up the words. Also the words are only screen printed on it so over time they will start to flake and come off; but the mask is still very pretty without them on it.

A blindfold would not typically need to be cleaned unless the wearer had it on during a face shot, or the blindfold is styled like a sash and hangs down even after being tied. The Shhh blindfold falls in the second category.


The blindfold is made from a silky material, so it may show spots from water or other fluids. To clean it I would recommend putting it in a lingerie bag and toss it in the washer on the "Gentle" cycle. Use a bleach free detergent, and some fabric softener to keep it feeling soft on your skin. Now when drying it I would still recommend keeping it in the lingerie bag; and tumble dry on low heat, or let it lay out and air dry.


Do not place it in the washer without it being in a bag. The blindfold can become tangled around the agitator. But if you have one of the newer front load washers it may be ok, however I'm not going to take that chance.


*If you don't have a lingerie bag a simple lightweight pillow case will work fine. Just make sure to tie the top.

The Shhh Blindfold comes packaged in an elegant black box. Most of the box is flat (non-glossy), but on both the front and back there is a picture of some limbs, leaves, and such that's in a glossy black. Besides the glossy picture on the front there is a red rectangle on the upper right corner that has a black picture of the blindfold, as well as the products name in black. On the back of the box there is the saying "Cover your lover's eyes and unleash your most passionate fantasies" written in 10 different languages. Now there is a flap on the front of the box, this opens up to show a window allowing you to see the blindfold.

The cons I mentioned: "Has to be double knotted and the writing comes off", may sound kind of bad; but in reality they are very minor. Because if you really want your partner to remain in the dark you WILL double knot it; and if the words come off it makes it just a solid black silk scarf. So don't let the cons be a major deciding factor in whether or not you decide to buy this item. I recommend it for everyone!!
