This box set is designed as a small package of goods for a romantic evening. The package is a bit short in its design with a silk strip for foreplay, four candles powered by watch batteries for mood, some fake petals to drop onto the bed, and some chocolate flavored lube. The set is best used for a romantic night combined with foreplay, but it could have contained a lot more to make it an even more special night for her.

The kit itself has several different parts to it. The vibrator is made from plastic, so there is nothing special there. The silk strips are made from silk supposedly, but it definitely feels like it has been blended with another fabric, so I do not believe it truly is silk. The tea lights are also made form plastic, and they don't flicker or anything special. Just a tiny mini light. The petals are just cuts of fabric too, so those you just scatter about the bed. Overall, there isn't really anything that exciting to talk about here when it comes to material or textures.

The box set comes up short in my opinion. The "silk" ties (which really don't seem to be 100% silk) are still fairly nice. they are strong, and very smooth and very long.It is worth noting that the original description and packaging description is misleading stating "silk blindfold and ties". The ties are the blindfold, so there is no separate head piece. There is just the two strips. The vibrator is very small too. Its fits in the palm of your hand and is only about 3 inches long. The vibrations are normal and can be controlled with the twist base. The petals are nothing special. Lastly the battery powered tea lights are basic and run on watch batteries. No flickering, so special thing other than a small candle shaped light. Since this whole set is so compact, it is definitely designed for travel and someone who has never done romance before.

The function of the kit as a whole is versatile. Its quality however is not that high. I would call it basic. The vibrator being about 3" long has its vibrations located at the tip and is about normal for strength, but its nothing more than that. The candles are great for mood lighting within the room, tub, or house, but I would definitely recommend a lot more to make it feel special. The silk straps are fun and work great on the wrists, legs, or even as a blindfold, even though this package should have included one. The chocolate lube I would say is more for her use than you using it on her. Lastly the petals are just for effect on the bed. Nothing really special about it. Overall its a very basic set of goods in a package with very basic quality to offer.

The plastic vibe can be washed with some antibacterial soap and water. As for the silk, even if it may be a blended fabric, it must still be treated as silk. Silk cannot take high heat, strong detergents, or direct sunlight. Wash it by hand is warm water and air dry it away from direct sunlight. Make sure for when you do rinse the silk strips off that you rise them out thoroughly to make sure no soap is left over.

The packaging was actually fairly nice. It all comes in a small square box witha nice little red ribbon and bow around it. There is a removable card detailing what is inside the packaging to present it kind of like a gift to your lover. This would be a good place to place all of this stuff for storage too because its small and compact.

If a company like evolved really wanted to go the extra mile here they would have added in a lot of extra things to complete the set. If it were me creating a pack like this I would have put in a couples toy, some real rose petals, two silk strips, a blindfold, an erotic music CD or voucher code for download, real candles (and more than 4 of them), some red light bulbs, and some different flavored lube choices contained within separate packages. Would this make the package more expensive? Absolutely. Would it have justified the price for putting everything i needed all in one single package? Definitely. I haven't seen any packages out there like this, but they would have gone the area mile and really made it stand out from the crowd.
