The elastabind restraint kit is just what the name suggests - a couple of pieces of elastic you can bind someone with. It consists of two wide elastic bands, which are basically sewn down the middle to divide them into cuffs. The bands have D-rings firmly sewn into the middle seam, and the kit is completed with an adjustable tether you can clip onto the rings.

Because these cuffs are soft and comfortable, and can be gotten out of without relying on your partner, they are less intimidating and easier to use for beginners. I think they're sturdy and versatile enough for more advanced users to enjoy as well. The tether can be attached in different ways, and since the cuffs do have their own rings they could be used to restrain someone on a bed or to a chair.

The bands are 5" long, and laying flat and unstretched the wrist set is 6" across and the ankle set is 9" across. The tether is 40" long when let out fully, with a clip on each end. When it's fully cinched there's still 8.5" of length, given the clips and rings. The D-rings on the cuffs are 1"x1.25".

The box states that the hardware on these is nickel-free.

The material these are made of seems to be good quality, so they should last a long time. The elastic is heavy and tight, and they've held their shape through quite a bit of stretching and being yanked around on my part. The hardware has also held up to some pretty hard pulling, which I'm happy with.

These feel comfortable on me - snug but not too tight. For review purposes, I had Sir try one of the wrist ones on, since He has very big hands and wrists. They did fit, but were pretty snug! Still, I think these have enough stretch to fit larger people.

The wrist cuffs could be used as pictured on the box, with the hands going in opposite directions, to bind your partner's hands in front of or behind them. I used it the other way:

This was in the living room. For added fun, you can make your partner head to the bedroom while they're bound! The ankle restraints have just enough give for me to manage a good hobble, which seems to be amusing to Sir.

As you can see here, the ankle bands can be pulled apart a bit.
They allow enough movement for me to get my legs apart far enough for sex. I even tried them with my feet through the cuffs in opposite directions, which would also work during intercourse. Worn that way, it's hard to get your legs together, actually!

I can wriggle my hands into these by myself, but it's much easier to have them held open for you. Once in, I can get back out of them, but I have to actually try to and it takes a moment. I never felt like they were going to fall off accidentally.

These can be hand washed, or probably put through a washing machine. The package doesn't give care instructions, and I haven't put them in the machine myself, so hand washing is what I'd recommend.

Storage is easy, since these can go into a drawer or toy box. Left out, they probably suggest they're meant for naughtiness, but aren't glaringly obvious.

The picture on the box these came in looks fun, but I have to wonder how tiny the model is! She looks like she's swimming in these things, and I did not find them loose at all.

There's not much information on the package, but there is a cute story.

Inside, the set is just slipped in a little plastic bag. This is not packaging I'll be keeping for storage purposes.

Sportsheets has done a great job in designing this restraint kit. Unlike many "beginner bondage" sets, this one is not silly or tacky, is well-made, and is probably one of the easier ones to use safely and comfortably (I'm looking at you, kits that include metal handcuffs!). Best of all, it's still sturdy and versatile enough for more experienced players to get some use out of.

I usually end up in leather or rope (or some combination of the two) during bondage, but I still had fun with this. Even though I'm used to bondage that I absolutely cannot get out of on my own, these held me in place reasonably well and were an interesting change of pace.

Being sturdy but not entirely binding to the point you can't get out on your own is a great feature for these to have. I feel that for someone unsure of how much they're going to like being bound this could make the experience easier and let them focus on the fun of it. Some people react to being bound in unexpected ways, and starting with something you can get out of is a good idea in my own opinion.
