If you want to dabble with some BDSM, this is a great place to start. The Sex & Mischief Elastabind Kit is probably one of the more inexpensive binding kits you can find that has nice comfortable cuffs for your legs and wrists. I think the product is aimed more at beginners, but more experienced users could use it as well.

The material the cuffs are made out of reminds me of a really tight fitting ace bandage. There are two cuffs. One is for the wrists or arms, and the other is for the ankles, or calves.

In this pic, the one on the left is the leg cuff, and the one on the right is the arm cuff. The arm cuffs are slightly smaller.

Each cuff is basically a tube of elastic with a seam down the middle, so that you can put one arm or leg through each side. Then it has a metal D-Ring on it, so that you can attach the adjustable nylon strap to each D-Ring. The cuffs are comfortable enough for wearing for a long time period. The only problem is that they are tight on me, and I have pretty small arms and average sized calves. If you are on the bigger side, they may not be so comfortable and may cut off circulation, if you can get them on at all.

The nylon strap is fully adjustable. You can make it so that the D-Rings are pretty much touching (if you are that flexible), or about 3 feet apart.

I was actually rather impressed with the product. On the front of the package, the woman is standing with her legs slightly spread, and the leg cuffs are not very tight on her. That gave me the impression that they would be very stretchy and not restrain very well. But after trying them, I have NO idea how she is doing that. They are stretchy, but it's like using one of those workout tension rubber bands to try and spread my legs apart that far. And that says a lot, because my husband claims that I have legs of steel.



I did manage to free one of my wrists while struggling, but it sure didn't just slip out. I really had to work at it, so it's not like someone could do it discreetly without the other person noticing that they are trying to do it.

As far as putting them on goes, I needed help. I got one wrist in, but then I needed my husband's help to hold the other armhole stretched out to get the other wrist in. The leg ones were easy to put on myself, though.

You could machine wash this in cold water if you needed to, but I recommend air drying it. You don't want it to shrink. For storage, we just put it in the trunk we have all of our other BDSM stuff in.
