Shock and awe
It looked cool online, but it came in the package exactly like it looks online, which I found a little weird. I can understand that in stores whips are typically hung on pegs, but for some reason I expected it to come in some sort of a package that sealed it away from the cardboard box.. or at least in some plastic bag just for transport.
The whip is made from vegan-friendly materials: it's all latex, with three connected plastic balls as a grip, and a black cord to hang it out or put on your wrist. The plastic grip may be small for some, but it works. It also may not be good for those with latex allergies. The whip part feels very rubbery, and collects hairs and dust like most silicone toys would. The strands are stretchy, but I didn't really try to stretch them out too much. There may be a slight plastic-like smell to the toy when you first get it, but it doesn't really take away from the object. Sportsheets makes all kinds of bondage toys that are high quality, and this is no exception. I have no doubt that this whip will last a long time.
Luckily, cleaning this whip should be relatively easy. The cord is fabric, and could probably get moldy if let wet, but otherwise, the toy could be immersed in water and cleaned with soap. Alcohol or other household cleaners should not be used on this whip, but water and silicone-based lubes won't hurt it. This might be handy if you happen to be whipping an area that's well lubed up. There is no case or anything for this whip, but it can probably travel relatively easily in any sort of pouch, or shoved between some clothes in a suitcase.. if the airlines will allow it.
Overall, it's a solid whip, well built, and made to last!
