The Chain Tickler from Sportsheets is an amazing little toy. It may not look like much, but it delivers lots of tingles. Please realize it is a tickler and not a flogger. It is meant to be used to tickle and tantalize not flog. I realize many feel that flogging is tantalizing, but that isn't what this is made for. It is designed for sensation play much like feathers.

Materials/Design

The entire tickler is just shy of 21 inches with the handle at 15 inches and the ball chains at nearly 6 inches. The handle is plastic. It is lightweight and easy to hold. The top portion is thicker for an even better grip. The chain balls are connected at the bottom of the handle. The plastic has a bell shaped piece and the chain is connected inside it.

The ball chain is actually a set of 6 small chains. Each chain is composed of very small balls. Together it does look like a chain of balls. They are made of metal, but the tag does not specify what kind of metal. They are very lightweight.

Uses
It can excite and delight in a variety of ways. The chains can be traced along the body. It is very relaxing and feels almost like running water. Long strokes are nice, but different patterns can also be used. Long strokes starting from the the back of the foot and running up the leg are very relaxing. We idly thought it would be nice to play music that mimics the sounds of water while using this. It's just that relaxing. It would make a nice intro into a body massage.

Tracing it all around the back is bound to bring out goosebumps. Gently swirling at the neck, scalp, and ears is arousing. Use it on breasts/chests and bellies. It's also nice on inner thighs and genitals. You really can't go wrong with this. The sensations ranged from relaxing to arousing depending on the placement.

Men may like it wrapped around their shaft during a handjob. My husband said the handjobs with it feel amazing because the balls feel like natural lube. He also likes the chains wrapped around his balls during oral sex. The chain was a bit short for this. To do it we wrapped 3 chains one way and 3 the other. It would have been nice if the chains were just a bit longer.

It's a great toy for temperature play. Dip the chains in hot water or cold water for completely different sensations. Adding a blindfold and alternating with both hot and cold will make for interesting play. I love the chains in icy water. It is physically cold of course, but it also sends sexual chills down my spine. I like it best with lots of cold strokes with just a few warm ones thrown in for good measure. My husband likes the chain warm the best. Play around with it to see what works for you.

We also have used this during intercourse. Yes, I said we have used this during intercourse. My husband placed the chains in front of his penis and gently pushed them in. It worked as long as the penetration was shallow and thrusts were slow and gentle. It gave an interesting texture like extra ribbing. We didn't climax this way, but it was a fun way to start.

For such an inexpensive toy, it has lots of possibilites. I'm sure you could come with lots of your own ideas.

Care
We washed this with antibacterial soap and water. A 10% bleach solution could also be used. Metal has a safety rating of 9/10 and plastic has a rating of 8/10. We felt it was pretty safe to use vaginally as it could be washed.

It can be stored anywhere where the plastic handle can lie flat. A drawer would be fine.

I still love this tickler. It has gotten used several times a week since we bought it. It's still good as new and delivers spine tingling sensations every time we use it. For me, it's better than feathers or paddles/whips for sensation play.

It's too bad it's been discontinued because it is a great inexpensive sensation play toy.
