Fresh tassel whip - whip discontinued by PHS International - review by Eeyor89

This tassel whip can be used as a forplay tease, or as a punishment. The tassels can be pulled across your partners body; making them squirm at the anticipation of what is to come later. They can also be used as a punishing lashing for those naughty people who need to be taught a lesson. However with the massive length of the tassels on the 30" tassel whip, it does not and will not work for a happy medium between a teasing feeling and a punishment. I have found that this will work for beginners to help transition them into more advanced whips and floggers, while also working well for the more advanced user. If you don't have a creative mind then you will become rather bored with this item. But for those of you who can take lemons and make a whole pie, you will be quite pleased with this whip.

I like the overall design of the Fresh Tassel Whip; but I feel that it could be improved. I have the 30" Fresh Tassel Whip, and while it's a good length there are ups and downs to the product.


The total length of the product is 30" with the tassels measuring a total of 25", and a 5" long handle. The handle works well for me and my little hands. Although if your hands are much bigger then mine the handle may be too small for you. The handle is made from the same polyethylene as the tassels. And actually they made it by wrapping a pink tassel around what looks like a clear piece of rubber that's about 1/2in thick. The clear rubber also separates the tassels, which puts 6 tassels on each side. Now the Polyethylene is easy to clean, but when the handle is bent even just a little bit the pink tassel separates and causes a gap where body fluid such as sweat can enter the handle. At the end of the handle there is a small silver "D" ring that can be used to hang the whip up on the wall, or in a closet.


Also the tassels, there are a total of 12 individual tassels each measuring about 1/4 inch wide. Together they make for a great sensation, but their a bit thin for my liking. I feel that if they were thicker the sensation they would cause could and would be greater. But with that comes more pain so it's a bit of a personal opinion. With the small size of the tassels the whip weighs about 2oz; which is really, really light weight for a 30" whip.


I must say that have started to really enjoy the tassel whip, despite the small size of the tassels themselves.

The Fresh Tassel whip performs very well, and for the price it's a good deal. Now for those of you who are totally into bondage and BDSM play, and who like to have the "real deal" this item is not for you. It works well for teasing, whipping, and spanking, but top of the line it is not. I would definately direct this more towards those who are beginner to intermediate.


I love how you never know where exactly the tassels will land. Sometimes they will land all together, and other times they will spread apart. This leaves you or your partner wondering where they will feel the pain. I would say that overall this product has worked well for me, and my parnter seems to like it. Although he did say that it took him a little bit of time to get it to swing rite.

Cleaning: The whip can be washed with warm water and mild soap.


For the most part there should not be a constant need to clean the whip. So depending on how you use the whip will determine how often it will need to be cleaned. If you use only use it on parts of the body where it does not come into contact with bodily fluids it does not need to be cleaned after each use. However if it does come into contact with bodily fluid I would recommend it to be cleaned immediately after use.


Storage: You can store the whip almost anywhere in it's original packaging, a bag, a drawer, or hung up on a hook.


Make sure the whip is completely dry before storing it away.

The Fresh tassel whip comes packaged in a clear bubble package with a back insert showing the whip on the back, like all of the Fresh products. My 30" tassel whip was curled up in the bottom of the bubble; you couldn't tell how big it actually was because it was wrapped so many times. The packaging for this product is minimal and not discreet at all. Although EdenFantasys does ship it in a regular Priority Mail cardboard box so no one but you will know what's inside. You can choose to store your Fresh Tassel Whip in its original container, but I find that it takes up too much space for me.

I love my fresh tassel whip, and I use it often. But at times I wish it was a little heavier, so that it would swing easier. After using this whip I feel that I can move on to someting a little bit more advanced, such as the Sparticus loves Cleo flogger. Now I'll be honest; if I get one as advanced as that one I will have to work my way up to the full punishment level. Although I am up for the challenge so we will see what happens.
