Honestly, there was no “Ecstasy” going on between hubby and I when we tried out Trojan Ecstasy condoms. Of course, in a perfect world, condoms wouldn’t be needed. But after the birth of our daughter and in between me being able to get on birth control, we didn’t want to take any risks. So we decided to try these babies out.
With a name like Ecstasy and all the commercials involved to promote this product, I was incredibly hopeful that these would just blow my mind! Unfortunately, they didn’t. All they did was disappoint.

First off, these have some crazy sizing! I don’t know who decided to change up the sizing on these, but they went nuts! I was sure that I had messed up and grabbed the “large” packaging, but when I double checked, it was supposedly the “standard”. My hubby is not a teeny tiny guy, and we have never had any problems with “standard” sized condoms before. These almost slipped off!

The lube on them was also pretty weird. It was almost tacky and didn’t feel good at all! I didn’t care too much for the ribbing either, but the lube was the worst part. It felt horrible and I didn’t even want to finish with hubby wearing it! After a while, it seemed like the lube wore off, and the condom got almost sticky and really uncomfortable. We couldn’t take it anymore. It was just too terrible.

I will honestly never buy this type of Trojans again. I’ve always liked Trojan, but they just seem to have dropped the ball with Ecstasy and I’m sad to say how disappointed I am with our experience. If you’re still considering trying out Ecstasy, here are some stats:
