Trojan vibrating ring and condom - condom kit discontinued by Church and Dwight - review by Beaners

My previous partner and I wanted to try out vibrating rings, but weren't sure if we were going to like them or not. We decided that we didn't want to splurge on a good one, so we just tried out this one. The ring came in a separate little pouch from the condom and is made out of a jelly like material. To be honest, we didn't use the condom that came with the ring, so I can only review the ring.

The ring is extremely stretchy, so there shouldn't be any problem with it not fitting. I played around with it and stretched it to well over 3" diameter, maybe even 4". As a result, this doesn't do anything to restrict blood flow to help with erections, so keep this in mind if you're looking for a cock ring for this reason.

This ring works really simply. There is an in and out pull switch that turns it off and on. You push it in to turn it on and pull it back out to turn it off. On top, one side of the bullet has a textured nub that's meant to provide clitoral stimulation, and the other side is smooth. It makes a little bit of noise, but nothing distracting.

The best way to use this ring, as stated before, is to have the male put the ring on with the bullet vibe on top. Getting on his back, the female can position herself as she sees appropriate. We tried different positions, but the grinding against it was the most effective.

I was not impressed at all with the vibrations. They were too weak to get much of anything out of any other position than girl-on-top. It did do something though, but it wasn't a tipping factor for an orgasm or anything. The vibrations were significantly stronger the first time we used it. In fact, we only used it twice because re-using a toy made out of that kind of jelly material weirded me out even though we washed it with soap and warm water like you're supposed to.

All in all, I would say that there are better rings out there that you would be happier with experimenting for the first time with. I would have rather gotten one with a more protruding dolphin or tongue shape of some sort. The flat button type stimulator didn't provide enough pressure for me. Maybe with a more protruding stimulator, the weak vibrations wouldn't have been such a factor.

I haven't ever bought another one of these rings. It just seems silly to me to buy something that you can only use a handful of times (and you're really only supposed to use once) before it starts discounting and breaking down. Not attractive and not a good investment. If you're brand spanking new to sex toys and want to give this a go, by all means, it's a good introduction. But I think after one use, most people are going to end up wanting more. And this cock ring just can't provide that.
