Should be spelled SKYN...cause it's nothing like the real thing!

These condoms won't replicate the bareback experience. It isn't terribly thin and won't leave your guy wondering if he forgot to put a condom on. If you use them for oral sex, the benefit is the condom has absolutely no smell or taste. The condom doesn't allow any sort of tailoring other than a larger than average reservoir tip. We definitely didn't notice any "knee-buckling sensations"!

extremely useful review
We are on the hunt for a condom that is comfortable enough for Sigel, Arch and I to use when the situation demands. We had high hopes for this condom since we do like the LifeStyles brand. Alas despite the claims that this product "will change safe sex forever" the reality is much more depressing.

The condom is made of revolutionary synthetic polyisoprene which is basically the same chemical composition as latex minus the proteins that have been linked with latex allergy. They are supposed to be "strong yet soft" and "designed to enhance sensations to knee-buckling proportions" in reality they are rather thick, vertically stretchy and reduce sensation much the same as thicker more run-of-the mill condoms.
The actual measurements are:
* length- 7.48"
* head width, shaft width and base width- 2.08"
* thickness- 0.0027"

As you can see, these aren't phenomenally thinner and do not have any shaping to allow for more tailored fit. About the best thing I can see about them is they have been shown to be stronger and more breakage resistant than latex condoms.

They are lubricated with a water based lube that might not be plentiful enough for most users, which is something to be aware of as the condom has an odd property that makes it feel properly lubricated while in use but leaves the woman rather sore. Additional lubrication will completely ease the "burn" proving that this is a condom that is good for us ladies with mild or even severe latex allergy. Remember to keep away from oil based lubricants as the oil will degrade the material increasing the chance of breakage.

The color of the condom was one of the features I found most attractive as it is transparent and doesn't ruin the mood when giving oral sex. It has zero taste or smell, though I did notice it was a bit more difficult to smell and taste the natural odor of my guys. This might be a bonus for some users but it detracted from the experience for me.

The condoms come 3 to a box and are wrapped in an easy open gold foil package. They are amazingly easy to unroll.
The condom does have a larger than average reservoir tip, but fits very snugly on even a medium girthed guy. It will distort the natural shape of a penis somewhat which can lessen the enjoyment of both parties. The condom doesn't glide well over skin and leaves the guy feeling like he is wearing a condom. It doesn't transmit heat well, the guy can be left feeling oddly cold and forget all those lovely squeezing motions cause you won't be feeling them.
Experience
Sigel received the condoms in the mail and, in the interest of providing a complete review, Arch bought a box of his own to test. Both guys are approximately the same length but Arch is approximately an inch larger in girth. The condoms were easy to open and easy to unroll, but while they stretched easily to the proper length the girth made Sigel feel like he was being squeezed almost too tightly. Arch had to take his off and we realized another drawback to the condom. Arch is uncircumcised and needs a larger width condom to feel comfortable. He requires a bit more "head room" as well. We did get to test the oral capabilities of the condom and it was pleasant enough, no awful smell or taste. My problem was there was absolutely NO taste or smell. Since this condom left Arch feeling like he was being strangled, he will not be using them any time soon.

Sigel was able to use the condom, but decided that while it worked; it was slightly uncomfortable, lacked any semblance of "skin like" qualities, and he was unable to forget he was wearing a condom. His partner required extra lubricant to continue and he didn't notice any change in the feel after adding more. As a man who loves a sweet liquid ride, this was disappointing to say the least. He was able to achieve ejaculation and the reservoir tip held the fluids easily and securely. The condom didn't slip at all during use and was easy to cleanly remove. Cleanup was a breeze, as the water based lubricant washed easily away with a shower for both Sigel and his female partner. His partner shares my mild latex allergy and, like me, reported that this condom did not cause swelling or irritation commonly associated with the allergy.
In conclusion he admits that this was the best condom he had ever used for not leaving him with a raging prostate infection; but other than learning that his infections were, indeed, caused by a latex allergy he didn't enjoy the experience of using the condom. This will do in a pinch if a condom is a must but it isn't going to make him a dedicated condom user were his final words on the matter. So the search continues...
Follow-up commentary
Oddly even though it still feels like fucking a slick cock filled balloon to me, Sigel has used them with his playmates. He says that the tighter fit and loss of sensation is worth it to feel like he's protected. It is worth it to keep himself and us safe. I still don't recommend them and even Sigel admits there are better out there but he has used the last one and we are still searching for the right brand for him.

    These are great for latex allergy or sensitive skin. I won't use anything else....unless it's natural material, which I haven't seen since I was in Europe. So, for now, these are the best you can get.
