Trojan pleasures fire & ice - male condom discontinued by Church and Dwight - review by Awby

Let me start by saying I am so not a condom person. I've been having sex for over twenty-five years and have never enjoyed condoms though I have tried several different brands, types, and "new and improved" styles. Of course, having made it this far in life, I know that condoms are a necessary evil when having sex with a new partner for the first few months but that doesn't mean I have to like them!

My partner has an extra-sensitive head and felt the condom begin to get "tingly" almost immediately,though it took a bit for me to feel much besides the condom. It started to get tingly/warmish and then turned almost cool partway through the sex. I had read other product reviews and was pleasantly surprised that we both felt anything truly noticeable this product.

The lubrication was good. This was another big plus as I generally have to use additional lube with condoms. They also held up to several position changes and some pretty vigorous use without slipping or tearing.

I have read horror stories of allergic reactions, but I did not (thankfully) have to deal with such issues. The biggest drawbacks for me are the same issues I have with any condoms, so I know they won't be issues for everyone: the fact that there is a condom involved at all (I prefer skin-to-skin contact), the smell and the texture (it smells and feels like a damn rubber!), clean up (I like to give oral right after but will not when my partner wears a condom) and disposal.

I will be purchasing this product again. For being a necessary evil, I found that I actually enjoyed the sensations, lubrication, and construction quality of Fire and Ice and will be using them not only as the required protection against STDs with new partners but to simply experience the uniqueness of the warming/cooling aspects of the product. The warming/cooling could definitely have been a lot more intense, but we both felt sensations that did enhance the sex.
