The Trojan Ultra Ribbed Ecstasy condom is an innovative design by Trojan. This is probably a totally different shape than you're used to if you've been out of the condom market for a while (like I have).



Most reviews of this style condom are positive, although I have read some complaints that it is too thick, or too baggy. My experience, though, is that it's just right. Thickness in a condom means, to me, that I don't have to worry about it breaking. The bagginess is part of the design, but I do wonder about fit on a smaller penis. It could definitely seem baggy if your guy is used to a tight fit, obviously, or maybe sizing is an issue for some. I would recommend trying a sample of this condom from a variety pack before committing to a ten-pack.

The shape reminds me very much of a tampon applicator, which is a little shocking at first, only because it's different. The roomy shape of the Ecstasy line allows for more freedom of movement of your guy's penis within the condom. This less-restrictive design allows more friction, and therefore greater pleasure for the man. The ribs are designed to enhance sensation for both partners, and we found this to be somewhat true. The latex smell is strong, which I find VERY unappealing, unfortunately.

What I DO find appealing about this condom is that it is coated in silicone lubricant inside and out. Silicone feels SO. GOOD. Part of the 'ecstasy' of these condoms is the lubricant, maybe as much as the shape.

Now for the technical specs:
This condom is average in thickness, at .0027" thick. At 7.87" long, Ecstasy is good for longer-than-average guys, but not so great if you're working with a shorter (shorter than 6" or so) penis. The base is 2.05" wide and the head is 2.44" -- that flare is part of the innovative design.

As condoms go, these are not so bad. I'm not a fan of latex in general, so that's a problem, but overall, these are a good buy.
