My partner and I buy Magnum condoms by Trojan almost all the time. But they come in packs of only 10 and they are more expensive. Sometimes it isn't worth the extra few bucks to pay for a luxurious condom that will only be used for a quicky or to use on of those more expensive condoms when we are not sure sex will work due to being on my period etc. Lifestyles condoms are an excellent less expensive choice for us. Most of their condoms have larger head room than Durex and Trojan regular sized condoms. This makes them great for us in more than one way. The His & Her Condom by Lifestyles is probably my favorite that they manufacture. If you have never tried one, I highly recommend it no matter your dimensions.

Compared to other condoms:

Average condoms have a thickness of 0.0027". This condom is unique in many ways, but not in thickness. It is also 0.0027" thick so females probably won't notice any difference here if you use typical condoms. The male may find that because of the ribbing they feel a tiny bit thicker.

The average condom is 7.5" long. No uniqueness here either. This condom is also the same length as the typical condom. Because of the smaller base, length is not as much of an issue because it won't slide. BUT, still keep in mind that I recommend not using it on a penis longer than 7.125". The unique reservoir tip allows for more than a teaspoon or two of semen.

Average condom head width is 2.125". This condom has some more head room at 2.25" This is unique but what is even more unique is the shape of the head. It more naturally fits a penis than most condoms with contour shapes. This creates more friction. Condoms without this cut down on sensation and make it harder for most men to orgasm. Lifestyles has helped solve this a bit with their contour designed shape. Seeing this fit perfectly on my partner's head makes me forget he is wearing a condom at all!

Average shaft width is 2", the His N' Hers is also 2". Thicker guys won't mind this as much because of the extra head room. Average guys won't notice a difference unless they usually use Durex. A lot of Durex condoms have smaller shaft width.

Average base width is also usually 2". This is a design flaw for many. A common problem with condoms is that they slip at the base and can fall off or start to feel floppy and baggy. The His N' Hers is smaller at 1.75" which is snugger at the bottom to help prevent this from happening. Anything to prevent an embarrassing trip to the emergency book is a great idea to me!

These condoms are also ribbed! For some females, you may not notice the texture, but for me it makes a difference. The ribbing is average in size but closer together than Durex or Trojan. In my opinion, this makes more of a sensation for the female. The more the merrier!

The lubrication is pretty great, but it doesn't last forever. Make sure to add more if you are using this for longer sessions. Doing so will reduce the chance of breakage due to friction. The lubrication is water based so you may want to also use a water based lube if you are adding some. The smell is lower than most and doesn't seem to linger on the skin.

Note the box has changed and so has the color of this condom. I believe they started out as red, then went to a light maroon color (the ones I have are this color), and now a lavender-which is the same as the box. I have not seen this new colored box in stores yet, but it does appear on the web site. They come in 12 packs and to my knowledge and experience are not included in any trio-packs currently offered by Lifestyles.

The condoms come in plastic wrappers. Be CAREFUL when separating them from one another. I have ripped the package of the next condom a time or two because I was doing it too fast or not paying attention. The wrapper is thinner than Durex and so it needs to be treated differently.

I have never had one of these condoms break. Keep them in room temperature areas away from direct sunlight. They seem to keep well to their expiration.

These condoms are much cheaper if bought in stores but you can buy them many places online. They are carried by Walgreens and CVS if you want to buy them in store.

I am giving these condoms 5 stars because they really do what is advertised-feel great for both the guy and girl. The ribbing feels great for me and the shape doesn't make my partner feel restricted. The lubrication is above average and the smell is below average. Love these!

Bummer news...I believe these condoms are being phased out. They no longer appear on Lifestyles product pages and so I looked at the new products they have, hoping they just changed the name or put it with other condoms in their awesome combination packages. Unfortunately, I could not find them. I have seen them in stores as recently as a month ago (and they appeared on the site a week or two ago). If you really like these condoms, you may want to stock up! They never broke on us, and always worked well.
