The Durex Tropical condom has pretty much one purpose: oral sex. These are deliciously flavored with none of the latex smell and taste. These operate as a normal condom, as well, if you want to switch between oral sex and penetration. As with other condoms, the Durex Tropical condom is effective in preventing pregnancy and the transmission of STDs. I would definitely recommend wearing one if you are unsure of a partner’s status. This condom is also pretty useful if you don’t want ejaculation in your mouth or do not like the taste of your partner.

These are available in banana, strawberry, and orange flavors. The color of the condom goes by what flavor it is. Strawberry flavored condoms are red, orange flavored ones are orange, and banana flavored condoms are yellow. I have noticed that the fruity flavor and smell from the lubricant on these remains well after the condom is removed, which can be pretty pleasant. I love the strawberry flavored, though I always seem to get a ton of banana flavored and almost no strawberry.

The flavored lubricant is water based. It feels like there is a pretty generous amount on them, though if you are performing oral it may go away pretty quickly. I would definitely use more lube if it is needed during penetration, though it wouldn’t be necessary during oral sex, since your mouth will provide a good amount of saliva to act as lubrication.

Durex Tropical condoms are big enough for average sized guys. Larger men may need to find a different condom. If these fit too tightly and cut off circulation or something, you’d definitely need to find a different condom.

These condoms are about 7 1/2 inches long, which is the same as a regular lubricated condom. They are about 1 3/4 inches wide, compared to 2 inches wide on regular condoms. The head area is also smaller than regular condoms. These measure 1 3/4 inches wide, compared to the 2 1/8 width of a regular condom. Durex Tropical condoms also have a small reservoir tip. I do not recommend guys with a thicker penis or more than 7 inches in length to use these. There will not be enough room in the condom for both the penis and any ejaculation.

Compared to the thickness of other condoms, these are also a bit thinner, which increases the amount of feeling through the condom. Regular condoms are .0027 inches thick, while these are .00247 inches thick.

I definitely recommend these condoms to anyone looking to experiment with or perform oral sex, especially if they have no other method of birth control or are concerned with the transmission of STDs. As I stated, though, larger guys will want to find a larger condom. The flavors are pretty good and these are pretty easily available. I see them at most of the gas stations around here, as well as at drug stores and retail stores like Wal-Mart.

If only there was snozzberry flavored.

While I haven't had to use these in quite a long time, I still feel they are very reliable and useful. Being flavored is great, since a lot of condoms have a nasty taste to them. These just have the fruit flavor.
