Delta Felt Swell and Dealt Well

Modest in size but with a variety of potential uses, the Tantus Elements Delta is a great introductory sex toy. It can be used externally, internally, or both, with or without vibration. It's also safe for anal play and is harness compatible. The high-quality, soft silicone is non-intimidating, body-safe, and low maintenance. It may not be suitable for those who require more size and/or power, but I think it's otherwise a good choice for users who are looking for a true multi-tasking sex toy.

Use

The Tantus Elements Delta is a uniquely shaped sex toy made from soft silicone. It comes with a small bullet that fits into a hole in the base to add vibration. The wide, flat base is easy to hold, with slightly raised ridges on the top for better grip.

There are several ways you can enjoy Delta. It works very well as a dual stimulation toy, it's harness compatible, and thanks to the flared base, it's also safe for anal play. I prefer to use it for vaginal and clitoral stimulation. While the silicone is too soft for applying G-spot pressure, it's great for thrusting, and it carries the vibrations from the bullet well.

Material / Texture

Delta is made from high quality silicone. I got the pink pearl color, and it does have a pretty pearl-like finish. It's also very soft and squishy. The surface is totally smooth and has a silky feel to it, with just a little bit of skin drag. There is a small, raised ridge on the inside of the clitoral stimulator, right at the tip, but that's the only texture. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this silicone isn't bad for attracting dust and lint. It also gets very slick with just a little bit of lube, but please remember to only use water-based lube with this toy.

Design / Shape / Size

Designed for either G-spot or prostate stimulation, the slimline shaft is similar in size and shape to a curved finger, and the small attachment has more of a bulbous teardrop shape to stimulate the clitoris or perineum. The size is probably better suited for those who prefer a smaller toy, and it would be ideal for anyone new to anal play since the shaft is so thin at only 3/4" in diameter.

Looking a bit like a long curved finger and cocked thumb, I found the shape to be effective, and I can certainly find my G-spot and use this to stimulate it. But I would have liked a bit more girth. The silicone is so flexible that the clitoral stimulator can be repositioned where necessary, but I think it would have suited me better if it were longer.

At first glance, it's not obviously a sex toy, so the design is somewhat discreet. The flat base is definitely an advantage because that means Delta stands up on its own, and I love it when toys can do that.

Performance

The Delta performed very well for me. It's very easy to use, and it has a lot of versatility. I can't speak to how it does when used with a harness, because I don't have a harness. Yet. However, the slim girth makes it easy to insert where ever you might want to use it, and the silicone is nice and bendy, so it's very comfortable. I had no trouble using this vibe in the shower because when wet the silicone is slick enough to use vaginally with no lube.

As for the bullet, it's limited by the single speed and somewhat buzzy vibrations. While I would have liked stronger vibrations when using Delta vaginally, the moderate power worked well for me anally since this is the first vibrating anal toy I've tried. Luckily, the silicone does a great job of carrying the vibrations and also makes them feel less buzzy.

Care and Maintenance

As a 100% silicone toy, Delta is waterproof, so it's easy to care for and clean. Simple soap and water will do for everyday cleaning. If you plan to share this toy or insert it in more than one orifice, be sure to boil it or sanitized it with a bleach solution in between partners/uses.

I store mine in a plastic bag so it won't come into contact with other toys. You could keep it in the original packaging, but I think the box is a bit too bulky, and I'm getting short on storage space. As previously mentioned, use only water-based lube with this toy. Since the material is nonporous, a small amount of water-based lube lasts a long time.

Packaging

Delta and the included bullet vibe come in a molded insert inside a thin plastic box, which is clear, so you can see the toy. There aren't any real instructions included, but there is plenty of product information printed on the outside of the box. The bullet comes with the 3 LR44 watch size batteries it takes.

Personal comments

I have to admit that I initially underestimated the Delta. I'm totally incapable of visualizing a toy's size based on listed dimensions and website pictures, do I didn't realize how small it was going to be, and when I discovered that the bullet didn't have all that much power, my first impression was that this toy wouldn't be enough for me. I'm greedy that way.

However, when I took it out of the box I fell in love with the silky-soft feel of the silicone. Once I started using it, I was further impressed by Delta's design, as the shaft's curve is great for hitting my G-spot. It's not firm enough to apply any real pressure, but it feels like a soft finger gently stroking it, which is quite nice. The little attachment does a decent job of stimulating my clitoris, and the two sensations combined are enough to get me off. If I had my druthers, I'd add some girth to the shaft and a bit more length to the clitoral stimulator, and probably more speeds and power to the bullet, but I'm sure I can find another bullet with those features that will fit in the Delta's hole.
Follow-up commentary
I still like my Elements Delta, only now instead of using it as a dual-stimulation vibe, I mostly use it as a butt toy.
