The mini realistic dildo is a very good starter dildo. It's small and short, which is desirable if you're not used to toy play. It can be used anally or vaginally and is best suited for beginners, or for warming up for something larger.

The mini realistic is made of a combination of silicone and TPR. I'd be willing to bet its much more on the side of TPR than silicone. It has a nice smooth feel like silicone, but everything else feels a bit too much like the cheaper TPR. It has that off-putting smell of TPR and is a bit too firm. The shaft is realistically textured, but the head is oddly smooth. Not that that's a bad thing, but it does stand out.

For good and for bad, this toy is very short. The insertable length if you push is about 4" with another .5" around the balls. It's long enough for general stimulation, but can sometimes be too short for prostate or g spot play, and certainly can't reach back very far.

My biggest complaint about the toy is how hard it is to hold. There's no base or flare at the bottom, just the balls. Trying to hold on to the back side where the balls aren't is very difficult while in use. Holding onto the balls is still not ideal, and limits the use of the toy since it is curved forward. Aside from that, it performs admirably for its size. It's smooth enough to slide well, but still has a bit of texture. I found myself pushing to get every bit of length I could though.

The maintenance is fortunately very easy. It can be cleaned with soap and water, and the smooth texture makes cleaning quick. None of the folds or veins in the texture are particularly deep, so residue doesn't stick there much, but extra care to clean around the head and balls is recommended.
