Vibrating velvet harness - double strap by Sportsheets - review by Helix

This is, in my opinion, a really great harness for the price and is awesome for both beginners and more experienced users alike. My partner and I are FTM and female respectively and this is perfect for our needs. I think it would be suitable for couples of any gender and sex (though it might be uncomfortable if a biological man was wearing it). It is the first and only harness that we have had as it continues to suit our needs even as we venture into more advanced harness play.

Pretty simple, the straps are made of nylon and the front part, where the pouch for the bullet is located, is made of a velvety material. The material is quite comfy and doesn't slide around or loosen so it fits well. Washing it is very easy as you can either throw it in the washing machine or hand wash it and hang it somewhere to dry. The little rings are more than likely made out of silicone as they are stretch a little and can bend easily.

It's a pretty simple-looking harness and looks good when on, it's comfortable and easy to adjust and pretty well made. The straps tend to be long, once on and adjusted, but they can be cut if desired. We've been using this harness for about a year and it still look relatively new. It comes with three interchangeable O-rings so it fits a wide range of toys, even pretty big ones. I am personally a bit of a size queen so this is an essential feature.

The beauty of the interchangeable O-ring design is that if there's a dildo that's too big for one of the rings that it comes with, you can buy more to use with it or even just use a hair elastic and snap that in to accommodate bigger toys. Using bigger rings than what it comes with works well with this harness and it accommodates them easily.

It fits both my partner and I quite well and we are about a size 11 and size 13 respectively. It would fit people quite a bit smaller and bigger than us as well and adjusts to the user's exact size. With very vigorous use, it can loosen slightly but it can be easily and quickly adjusted.

I think a good harness should fit well and stay on tight when in use. It does this well; though during particularly vigorous use, it can become a bit loose. It's quite easy to put on and take off as adjusting either way is simple as pulling a few straps or loosening them.

It is quite easy to secure toys into the harness as the rings simply snap in and the toy stays in properly as the straps are adjusted while on the wearer. It's important to use the smallest ring possible that fits around the toy so that it doesn't move around while in use. If the ring is too big the toy can slip out, especially if using a lot of lube.

My partner and I generally only use it missionary and doggy out of preference but I don't see any reason that it could not be used in other positions. It stays tight in any position that we have tried out.

And for a final little thought, the bullet and pouch for it don't really do much for my partner and I. The vibrations are not strong enough to be felt through the fabric and the pouch is not really in the right place for clitoral stimulation.

I personally keep it in a Ziploc bag in my toy box and wash it after every few uses or sooner (whenever it gets dirty, really). One can throw it into the washing machine or a hand wash it and then hang it or lay it out somewhere to air dry.

The packaging was quite basic, just a plastic package that contained the harness, the rings and the bullet. There weren't any instructions from what I remember but they were not really needed.

We bought this harness as our first harness and we love how comfortable and easy to use it is. We were completely new to harness play so it was very encouraging to have such a beginner friendly harness. We started off with pretty large toys (6-7 inches long and 5-6 inches diameter) and were pleased that it worked well with such toys and stayed tight and fitting well.

As we grew more used to the harness and used it with larger toys still and more roughly, it still held up well. We did learn that it was important to use the smallest ring possible for the toy as it can slip out if it's too big but that goes for any interchangeable O-ring harness.

It still holds up well to this day and we have not had thoughts of other harnesses yet. If this one ever deteriorates, we'll probably buy another just like it.
