The Leather Rider Luxe by Eden Toys is a strap-on harness for couples of any gender variation. The harness can be used by men or women, and is for strap-on, gender play and pegging. Whether the user is a beginner or more advanced user, this luxury harness is great for any skill level, and is easy to put on and go. The material limits the use to in the bedroom or a dungeon type scenario, as leather should not be exposed to excessive amounts of water or fluid. The design of the harness is simple, and users won't be struggling with how to set the harness up as it comes preset at the next to the highest size.

Users can travel with the harness if they're not easily embarrassed by TSA finding the harness in their bags. It folds easily, and can fit in small spaces if needed, but the buckles and other metal studs will show up on an x-ray of ones bags.

The harness is made from leather and metal. Leather rates a 7 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale while metal rates a 9 out of 10. Leather is a porous material, so when using this harness keep in mind that it will absorb bodily fluids and should be considered fluid-bound when using with a partner. The leather itself is soft and flexible, and it feels as though it comes already broken in from the softness of it. It has the very distinct smell of leather, but also smells a bit chemical when the item is first opened.

The grain of the leather is beautiful when you first open it and unfold the harness for the first time, and against the skin it feels buttery soft, but textured. There is a suede-like leather on the inner parts that rest on the skin, making the harness even more comfortable as this portion is smooth. The metal is shiny, and cool to the touch when you first put the harness on, but warms to the body quickly. The leather feels strong, and sturdy, and it's quite thick, so there's no worry of the material snapping with rough play or after multiple uses.

This is a luxury harness, and it's clear that a lot of attention to detail went into making it. While the style of the harness is a classic strap-on style (double strap), the attention spent on the design is one to be admired. The black leather is sleek and beautiful, and the harness is accented with white piping and pinked edges. The stitching on the harness is done very well, and overall makes it very sturdy along with the thickness of the leather used. The buckles of the harness are made well, and the metal used feels very high quality in both weight and appearance.



The double-strap design can also be used by males if they'd like, as there aren't any obstacles in the way of their genitals. Men can just as easily strap this harness on for play as any female-bodied person. The harness comes with two o-rings that are made of metal. These o-rings can accommodate dildos ranging from 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" in diameter, and are sturdy, keeping a dildo from flopping around. These o-rings makes the harness able to accommodate a wide range of toys that aren't huge in size.

Plus sized ladies and gentleman may take issue with this harness if they have hips measuring over 44" or a size 16 in US sizing. That is the maximum size this harness goes around the hips, and it rides low on the body like hip hugging jeans. When buckled in, the user will feel secure and form fitted in this harness, as it hugs the body when properly buckled. The front of the harness is comfortable, and doesn't chafe against the skin like harnesses of a cheaper price range. The straps that wrap around the thighs are comfortable as well, and the soft leather lends itself to the comfortable fit.



This harness is great for those with even rounder than average backsides. It hugs them perfectly and you can't really tell you have straps on your thighs when it's on as they are simply that comfortable. The lowest size the harness can buckle is 29 inch hip size. This makes the harness great for average body sizes. The harness can be worn under clothing like underwear, however leather tends to cause perspiration, so it may become uncomfortable for long periods of wear. Over time, the harness may stretch with wear, so over time you may have to adjust the buckles to fit you again.

The Luxe harness holds up to rough play immensely well. It doesn't shift or become a burden when switching positions and the o-ring holds the dildo firmly without having to readjust it constantly. It doesn't cause chafing or irritation on the skin, and the buckles lay flat without poking into the hips. These buckles are easy to adjust the sizes, as the leather slides through them fluidly. When a dildo is in the harness, it rests perfectly on the pubic bone and prevents any discomfort or pressure when thrusting.

When changing toys, the snaps open rather easily and the o-rings are easily taken off. Size queens and kings may not find this harness great for their larger toys, as the o-rings that come with the harness are not equipped to hold them. One could try to switch the o-ring out for a larger rubber one, but the snaps may not close over the bigger sized dildos.

Clean your harness with a damp cloth and a soap without detergent by wiping it down. Do not thoroughly soak the leather in water, and do not allow the harness to dry in the sun. Soaking the harness in water will damage the leather and leaving it out in the sun may cause the leather to crack. Over time, you can use leather conditioner on your harness to keep it in top condition. This comes in wipe form and bottled, and you may also be able to use saddle soap on your harness if you'd like.

Store the toy in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. You can store the harness in a toy box, drawer or closet, and the harness folds up small for easier storage. While leather can be mildly high maintenance, it can last a lifetime with proper handling and care.

The item is shipped discreetly in a plain, cardboard box without labels mentioning that there are adult items inside. The only label on the box has the two addresses of the sender and the receiver. Edenfantasys is not mentioned anywhere on the outside of the box, and the only way anyone would know who the sender is would be if they googled it. The box was taped securely, and there were no nicks or indicators that the box was crushed or mistreated in any way during transit.



Inside of the box, the harness is packed under air pillows to keep it from bumping around inside of the box during transit. Under the air pillows, you'll find the packing slip with the return/exchange information on it in case you require assistance with your order. Underneath, the harness is packaged inside of a cellophane bag, and there weren't any instructions for use or care included. All of the packaging that the toy comes in can be recycled.

If gifting the harness, you will want to put it in a nice gift bag or box as the packaging isn't fit for gifting. Let the person you may gift this to know that it is an adult product if they are easily embarrassed.

While this did not fit me, as I have larger hips than the size required for wear, my partner was able to slip this harness on easily and use it efficiently on me. Personally, I am hoping to lose some weight, so this will be a goal harness to wear as a reward when I get to where I'd like to be. It's beautiful, accentuates my girlfriends backside, and creates a sexy look overall. I love the look and feel of this leather harness, and hope to one day be able to wear it myself. The price tag of this harness may look pricey, but it is definitely worth the money if you have hips that fall between the size range for this beauty.
