Jessica Drake's metallic harness - harness and dildo set discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Anastasia Beaverhousen

My partner and I had been looking into buying a strap-on for a long time and I impulsively bought this one from a local shop several months ago. It was relatively cheap and seemed like a good option for our first toy. I liked the look and feel of the dildo itself, the veins were aesthetically pleasing and the slight bend looked like it would hit her g-spot nicely. Additionally, when I first purchased it and the length and girth did not seem very intimidating.

However, actually putting the harness on and adjusting it so it fit properly was incredibly challenging. It seemed either way too loose or way too tight, and no amount of adjusting solved the problem. I also was not a huge fan of the g-string style of the harness and the material it was made of. After extended use, the straps began to chafe, especially in the crotch area. I did like where the dildo fell on the harness, and was able to feel a bit of pressure on my clit with each thrust.

My partner also liked the overall texture of the dildo, but thought the material was too hard and plasticity. The dildo itself was too stiff and she experienced a fair bit of discomfort because of it. Being our first experience with a strap-on, she also found the dildo a bit too thick. After a good amount of time, when she was able to adjust to the size, it filled her up nicely, despite the stiffness.

On the plus side, the dildo was incredibly easy to clean and could be removed from the harness. However, between the harness chafing and the hardness of the dildo, neither of use derived an extreme amount of pleasure from the toy, but this might simply be due to our inexperience at the time.

Again, this is not a great set for beginners and I would have preferred a sturdier harness.
