Temptress' dual action harness - dildo harness by Cal Exotics - review by happy cookie

Though I hate to start a review with a negative experience, I must admit that I was immediately turned off by the Temptress' Dual Action Harness when I first opened it. The pungency of the latex that makes up the harness was enough to make me have to leave the room. Even now the latex smell remains strong when I take it out to use it. On a side note, I received the harness in the mail while moving so it ended up staying in storage unopened for about a week, which could very easily explain the smell problem (though personally latex has a terrible odor that never really dies down too much over time).

Besides that initial flop I was pretty pleased with all the other aspects of the harness package. It is the first time that my girlfriend and I have ever used a harness, and that being said I cannot offer a review based solely on my experience with it. So to do something a little different this time I'll start with my review of it then write what she thought.

To start I have to admit that a harness was a little intimidating to me. I am into anal play, but the idea of being in such a submissive position is what made me feel a little awkward. On top of that, the dildo that it came packaged with, was slightly larger that what I am used to using with my other anal toys. It also has a cloth-like core which makes it much softer than the jelly exterior makes it look. I tried using it separately from the harness to get a feel for its size, and managed to get it comfortably inside me. It didn't feel anywhere near as big as it looked, and my only criticism would have to be in the veins. They were both large in size and number, and ended up feeling awkwardly uncomfortable with quick in an out movements.

Because I still wasn't ready for the packaged attachment, the first time we used the harness as a couple, I attached one of my own favorites: The Blue Thunder Ultimate Penetrator. It was incredible, feeling my girlfriend stroke me in one hand and thrust in to me from behind with the other, a very new and exciting experience for me. The Temptress' Dual Action has a vibrating egg built in... though it is definitely an addition for "her" as I could barely feel it even when on high and with deep thrusts. Still I absolutely loved the feeling and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The downside to this is that while I was enjoying myself my girlfriend was doing anything but.

It was her idea from the start to try a harness. She likes being dominating sometimes, and wanted to try something out that gave her a lot of control. Sorry to say though that for her, every aspect was just the slightest bit off. Starting with the design of the actual harness. It fit, but the edges and seams seemed unfinished or a little rough, feeling a little sub-par in overall quality, and cutting into her inner legs unless put on at an awkward angle.

She also wanted pantie style seeing as how she never liked thongs, and the ones that have straps around the thighs looked uncomfortable to her. However the back side of the harness is thin enough to be considered a thong, and would crumple up and scratch with the unfinished edges in very undesirable places to be scratched. The vibrating bulled was also just high enough to completely miss her clit and instead stimulate her pelvis. Though she did admit that the holding mechanism (just a circular hole with two flaps of latex around it) worked great for both of the dildos we tried on it. When I asked her what she thought for the review she said it was not unbearable to use... especially being able to bend you over like that, but it also did absolutely nothing for me because I was too busy trying to just get comfortable with the thing.

Though I would love to give this a much higher rating than I did, I just cannot bring myself to do it. This is a toy that requires two to use and therefor should really be judged by the opinions of both people using it. While I loved it, I think that what I really loved was the action and feeling it created and not the harness itself. Because in all honesty, if you are using a dildo you are familiar with, the person on the receiving end will have very little idea about what the harness feels like.

So the first time that we tried the harness out, we did what seemed like the logical and intended use; when a man is on the receiving end of the deal. Me on my hands and knees, with her kneeling behind and using her hands on my hips to thrust in. While that was more than enjoyable for me, the next time she slid it on we decided to break convention and try a completely different position. Me on my back with legs in the air and her kneeling with her thighs slightly elevating my lower half.

Though it took a little trial and error to get this position right, we eventually got it so that the dildo was firmly inside me, and at the same time I was able to slide my dick between her breasts. If you have never tried this, I really recommend giving it a shot. I had an absolutely incredible orgasm, and just this particular position was able to move the vibrating egg down some and connect with my girlfriend's clit like it is supposed to (assuming that you are using the Temptress').
