Pleasure principle deluxe - dildo harness by ASLAN Leather - review by Femme Mystique

I've found that it is often difficult to find high quality non-leather harnesses. As a vegetarian with a vegan girlfriend and somewhat a connoisseur of sex toys, I didn't want to have to choose between quality and personal belief. That's where the Pleasure Principle comes in.

Aslan Leather is known for its top of the line leather harnesses, but they also carry this non-leather substitute made of faux leather and nylon webbing. The harness I received is somewhat different from what is pictured--the faux leather is actually a very shiny black and almost vinyl looking, as opposed to the matte finish in the product image.

A few features of this harness really set it apart from the rest. First of all, it rides very low on the hips due to an internal dildo holder for the "giver". This opens up the opportunity for both partners to each use the toy of their choice and enjoy penetration simultaneously. Second, this harness can easily switch back and forth between a two strap and g-string style harness. The thigh straps can easily be slid together in the back to form the g-string style. This would be particularly helpful if one partner preferred the two strap style and the other preferred the g-string style.

Faux leather is a strong and fairly low-maintenance material, which can be cleaned with warm water and detergent-free soap.

I did have a few small complaints about the Pleasure Principle, however. It is a little unwieldy and prone to slipping, despite adequate tightening of the straps. The straps go around the thighs and the hips and are adjustable both ways, which helps somewhat. I would attribute the unwieldiness to how low the O-ring sits on the body, and I imagine it is something I will get used to with time. And, speaking of the straps, because of the styling of this harness, I sort of felt like I had four tails flapping against me, which as you can imagine is a little bit distracting. This harness is also limited in its sizing. The maximum hip size for this harness is 44", which is about equal to a woman's size 16.

Overall, I think this a great harness for the price and one of the best vegetarian harnesses I've ever found.
