Review of Pleasure principle deluxe - Strap on harness

So, I started looking for my first harness and was agonizing over all of the different options. I had no idea what I liked or what would work for me. I'm both a pegger and a girl/girl sex enthusiast. I'm super tiny and have a hard time fitting into things of this nature. I'm super picky about how things look . . . In comes the Pleasure Principle. I was immedately drawn to it because it's made by Aslan, and Aslan = amazing.

So, obviously you can use a harness for attaching phallic objects to a body without one. When you do this, you're able to penetrate other people as if you did, whether the person be male or female. What's different about this harness, though? The versatility!

With this one, inexpensive transformer of a harness, you get a lot of styles and options:

1. (This is how it comes to you.) Traditional double-strap with internal dildo holder. There's one strap that connects around the waist, and one for each leg. On the front, the straps are connected to the rubber O-ring. The internal dildo holder sits just behind the front shield piece. It's a flat piece of leather with a hole in it.
2. Double strap without dildo holder. Don't like the extra dildo in you? The internal dildo holder can be removed for a more classic style harness.
3. G-string style harness. With or without the dildo holder. The shield in the front comes with a single slit below the O-ring. Remove one of the leg straps, attach the other to the O-ring through the slit. Voila! G-string harness. The G-strap can be used for holding in a butt plug for the wearer.
4. Bare essential harness. Want to show some more skin? Don't like all that nonsense between your legs? Take off the shield and the dildo holder and you have the simplest harness out there which is nothing but an O-ring and some straps. Dildos that work best with this are those that have soft, squishy bases (like silicone).

Faux-leather and nylon are waterproof! How awesome is that? The only thing you may have to worry about getting super wet are the metal snaps that hold the O-ring on.

You can switch out the O-rings to different sizes or metal rings, depending on your needs and preference. Seriously, what CAN'T this harness do?

Anyone who is considering their first-time harness should check this one out. It fits up to 44" waists, and I can say that it fits skinny, boyish figures, as well. It's not too pricey, and you get a ton of options to help you figure out where to go from here.

The front padding and the dildo holder are made of faux-leather. Totally vegan! The front is a shiny patent leather. It looks awesome and actually serves a purpose. The patent leather loves things like silicone and gives an awesome grip so your dildo doesn't slip around while you're getting it on. The back of the front piece and the dildo holder are made of a very real-looking, but totally vegan leather. It's got a very similar look and feel without the smell or the coming from animals part.

The straps are made of a sturdy nylon material. Nylon is super durable and doesn't stretch. These straps should hold up and hold steady for quite some time. It would take a lot to break these. They're not the most comfortable material ever, but it's totally wearable and doesn't cause too much trouble. The buckles for adjusting are made of plastic, but are incredibly durable, as well. They keep the straps from slipping during use very well. The snaps are metal, and seem to be the high-quality ones that don't give out very easily. Lastly, you have your flexible rubber O-ring that has a nice thickness to it so it will hold up and hold your dildo firmly in place.

I covered how awesome the function of the design is in the use section. I'm still majorly impressed by that. When looking over this harness on the site, I was unaware of the multitude of options it had. I had a feeling that double strap would be best for me, but I really appreciate the fact that I can make this into a G-string harness to see if it's something I like. The straps are totally adjustable. You can go from 0-44" with no increments in between like buckle and notch harnesses, so it should fit just about anyone. (The total length of the waist strap is actually 57") This harness has a huge win in the versatility department.

O-ring - 1 1/2"
Shield piece: 5 1/2" at top, 3" at bottom, 5" long
Internal Dildo holder - Same measurements as above, 1 3/8" hole
Straps - 1" wide, 23 3/4" thigh straps, 40" waist strap, plus 2 8 1/2" straps for waist. (57" total)

Because of the O-ring and the security it provides toys, you'll be able to use just about anything with a flared base. Heavier toys such as glass may be a bit too heavy. If your toy is bigger than 1 1/2" or your base is smaller, the O-ring can be replaced. You also have the option of using metal O-rings. From my personal experience, it works incredibly well with silicone toys, even butt plugs with straight bases intead of round (like the Ryder by Tantus). The internal dildo holder is a bit more limited, as it's a simple hole in the leather.

I was also attracted to this harness because it was made by Aslan, and they are known for their high-quality products. Even though this harness is simple and at a reasonable price, it's very high-quality for what you're paying for. The straps are very durable and sewn very securely, the snaps are tough, grip well, and should last a while. The dildo holder and the shield piece are made of an amazing quality of vegan leather. At first, I thought it was real leather until I looked at the product page and noticed it had no scent to it. The O-ring is very thick, and should be almost impossible to break. It's a bit flexible, but not flexible enough to have the dildo fall out.

Aslan also backs up their products with a lifetime guarantee. If you item ever breaks during normal use or is defective, they will repair or replace it. Aslan products are a worthwhile investment.

Given the measurements, it should fit just about anyone, from super skinny girls, to those with ample curves. The fully adjustable straps accommodate just about every shape. I loved how the double-straps hugged and lifted my butt and made it look super cute. The straps can be adjusted for your preferred level of tightness. The buckles make adjusting the straps super easy and quick. All you have to do is lift up on the end with the longer piece, pull the strap, and you're done! Super easy to get in and out of.

Being a person of small dimensions, I was worried about the front piece of the harness being too big to fit comfortably over my pubic area, but I didn't have any problems with this one. It didn't rub on me too much. The great thing about the fully adjustable straps is that you can wear this as high or as low as you like. However, for the internal dildo holder to line up right, you'll have to wear it a bit lower. Even with it being that low, I still had no problems with it being too big or bulky for me.

This harness has a very secure and sturdy fit. I was able to swing the toy around and penetrate well without it sliding around or slipping. With the O-ring it comes with, it's not sturdy enough for larger glass pieces, but a metal O-ring will solve this problem very well.

To get ready for action, find the longer waist strap, step through the leg straps, and pull it up. Lifting the buckle and pulling on the loose end of the strap will make it tighter. When your desired level of tightness is reached, let go of the buckle and you're done! It's super easy. There are a couple ways of inserting toys into the harness. You can undo one of the straps to free the O-ring, insert the toy through it, and then fasten the snap back. This is a great way of switching toys mid-romp. If you're not wearing the harness, you can simply lift the O-ring, slip the toy through the O-ring, and then pull the slack back through the front piece. Inserting the toys into the internal dildo holder is as simple as putting them through the hole. The back of the front piece and the straps will help to hold them in. When you're done, simply lift up on the buckles, loosen the straps, and step out. It's super quick to get in and out of.

If you're wearing the straps really tight, they may rub against your skin because nylon isn't the softest material out there. I've found that this isn't too much of a problem for shorter sessions, but has a chance for causing slight discomfort during longer ones. To remedy this, you can wear a pair of panties underneath the harness and it doesn't hurt the function of the it. If you still want to use the internal dildo, crotchless panties will work. It's not the most comfortable G-string out there, but it's not so uncomfortable that it impacts performance. I really like wearing it without the front piece or dildo holder as a double strap. This works really well with silicone toys because the base is usually cushy enough to be comfortable on the pubic bone. With the double strap style, the wearer can be penetrated easily, as well.

During use, the harness is really stable. I was really surprised by this because of the simplicity of the design. It holds up in different positions extremely well and doesn't rub against the skin. The sturdiness keeps the internal dildo from moving a bunch, but it still does shift around a little bit with thrusting. The length of the straps doesn't really cause too much of a problem. I tuck them up into the waist strap. If they're too much of a hassle for you, the nylon can be trimmed and the ends can be lightly singed to seal it (but be really, really careful with this).

Vegan leather harness are incredibly easy to take care of. They can be washed with detergent-free soap and warm water. You can use a soft bristled brush to clean in any crevasses. The nylon straps are the easiest thing to clean. Warm soapy water, or the machine. I'd suggest not putting them in the dryer, though. You can store this harness just about anywhere, but be sure to keep it in a climate-controlled room and out of direct sunlight.

I'm so incredibly happy I decided to go with this harness. It's way more useful than I ever thought it would be. I remember looking at so many different styles of harnesses before finally settling on this one. I wasn't even aware at how many uses you could get out of one harness. I like that I can try out different styles to see which best suits me.

And I'm not going to lie, I did enjoy dancing around with this on. That's how happy it made me.

I'm giving this 5 stars because of everything it can do, how sturdy it is and how well it works. It's also quite attractive. The only thing that keeps this from being a totally perfect harness is that the nylon straps can be uncomfortable for longer wear. I like wearing panties under it, so it's not really too much of a concern for me, but it may be for others.
