The Astral is a textured, soft, silky silicone dildo. The feel of the textures in this dildo is like no other. The toy looks to be more of a slight oval rather than round, and its off-centered ring textures excite and deliver. With its slight curve, it works for G-spot and P-spot stimulation. The Astral has ring textures that are not deep, only slightly raised. I would say that it has ridges, and they are off-centered. They have a slight downward slope that offers some extra girth with insertion. They feel similar to, but not the same as, the popping sensation when you are inserting the toy, and your body is expanding and contracting around the textures. The head portion of the Astral has a prominent lip at the bottom portion that adds to the sensations, and when you insert it with the lip upward, it hits the G-spot or P-spot area just right. The silicone is firm; there is only a slight give to the dildo. The firmness adds to the G-spotting action, but it is not so hard that it causes discomfort with thrusting actions.

The Astral has a total length of 7 1/2 inches, and the usuable length is 7 inches. The greatest girth is 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The base measures 3 1/2 inches wide, 2 1/2 inches long, and 1/2 inch tall. The ridges are approximately 1/8th of an inch.

Astral is easy to care for, and can be used between partners when properly sterilized. You can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution, use antibacterial soaps and water, toy sprays, or wipes. You can throw it in the dishwasher, or even boil it for 10 minutes. The ridges are not too deep, so they don't cause any issues with cleaning. Use only water-based lubes with the dildo, as silicone lubes can ruin this buttery soft finish. It is easy to store, and this one even comes with a color coordinated storage bag. The bag is soft and silky, also. The bag has a drawstring-like closure, and you even have enough room in the bag that you could throw in a small bottle of lube.

The Astral comes in a bright blue box that holds the toy in a plastic inner sleeve. The packaging is not discreet, with a picture of the dildo on the sides of the box. A Velcro cover opens to show the toy through the window. Included are some product information and a card showing the color therapy guide, with pictures of other toys made by Maia.
