Double the Pleasure

The CalExotics Play Things Mini Double Dong is my first dildo! When I saw it in my cart, I was intrigued but a little apprehensive because I had only ever tried vibrating toys. I wasn't sure if I would like something that didn't have extra bells and whistles and motors. Well, this toy made me want to delve into the world of dildos even more!

This soft, pliable, plush 7.5 inch double dong is a great beginning toy. Since it is so plush, you are not likely to bruise your cervix unless you are too rough. This toy doesn't have a flared bottom, so I wouldn't recommend this toy for anal play (even though we did try it... but I'll get to that in a few). However, for the sense of penetration and stimulating the g-spot, this makes a very nice toy. Also, since it has no motor, it is good for use in places that require a quiet toy, such as in a dorm or roommate situation.

Probably my only problem with this toy is the material. It is made from Pure Skin, so if you are in the habit of sharing toys or planning on going from vaginal to anal play, you MUST cover this with a condom. As in, go directly to the condoms, do not pass "GO," Do not collect $200!. I will admit that when using this on myself I did not use a condom, but I did use one for anal play (or it would have ended up being a single use only type of toy). While not veined, one head of the dong is very realistic. The other side is bumpy or ridged. It is smooth all over, which is nice, but it does get slippery when wet.

It is plush and soft so it feels pretty good, but not so floppy that you'll have difficulty inserting this vaginally. I would say that for any user, this texture is nice. However, more advanced users would probably prefer a safer material.

I really liked this double dong. Upon searching Eden Fantasys for other double-ended dildos, I didn't see very much that looked quite like this, which made me even more curious about it. This is purple (will also come in pink) so in that respect, it isn't realistic; however, the non-curved end of the dong is very realistic in looking like the head of a penis. It has a pronounced head and feels very nice. The g-spot end has some bumps or ridging, and doesn't look like any dick I've ever seen, but, still, it felt great!

The size of this dildo is pretty non-threatening. I did measure, and the length is 7.5 inches long and the circumference is about 4.25 inches at the widest part (about the center of the dong). This "mini" stature of the dong combined with its plush texture makes it a good fit for beginners.

Since it is phallic and purple... well, there's no mistaking this is a dildo. There is no discreet look to this toy.

The best part of this toy is the two very different sides. When you want a sense of PIV penetration, then it is really great on the straight end. When you want extra g-spot stimulation, then the curved end is AH(ahahah)-MAZING! Like I said, the only con, so far, is the material's safety (or lack thereof).

Since there's no flared base, it is not harness compatible. Nor is it really for gender play, since, ummm, penises are not a lavender/lilac purple!

This dildo does require a bit of maintenance. Since it is a mixture of PVC and silicone, ONLY WATER-BASED LUBES are compatible with this toy. It is porous, so if you are uncomfortable with these materials or if you are planning on sharing this toy, you definitely need to use a condom. We used Proper Attire Condoms that we scored from my 19-year-old sister (as we've don't usually use condoms since we are married, monogamous, and my tubes are tied). EF does not carry this brand. We did like them as they were very very thin and hardly noticed them.

To properly care for this dildo, you will want to wash it with a toy cleaner or mild antibacterial soap and warm water. Once it is completely dried, you'll want to dust this with cornstarch (pure cornstarch, not cornstarch baby powder or other baby powders) to keep the material feeling life-like. You want to store it in a dark, cool place in it's own bag or pouch so it doesn't touch (and thus, react) with your other toys.

This toy is also a lint magnet, so you will want to wash it off before and after use.

First of all, my experience... I really liked using this dildo. I especially liked the g-spot end and I am looking forward to experiencing with more g-spot toys with a firmer material (like GLASS) to help my continuing journey to a g-spot orgasm! Even though I have a g-spot toy already, it didn't stimulate my g-spot like this one does. It could have something to do with the bumps that give a slight "popping" sensation as it goes in and out and across my g-spot.

We did use this on My Mister too, anally. As My Mister is a beginner in anal play, the girth of this toy was a little much and he also did not like thrusting at all. It was a little slippery too with the condom and the all the lube, so I was a little apprehensive while I was using this on him as I didn't want to "lose" it, especially since there is no flared end to keep it in place. I ended up washing my hands to remove the lube so I could get a better grip on the toy and that helped me, but not him! Since it is flexible, it also made insertion a little harder. My Mister did get some good P-spot stimulation, but I moved it too quickly to let him enjoy it fully. Overall, this is not a toy designed for anal and we will not be using it again in that regards, but if an advanced anal user in a couple or group scenario felt inclined to do so, it COULD be used anally. My advice would be to make sure that one hand is not lubed at all, and grasping it on the toy and not the condom to be sure it doesn't slide all the way in.

Overall, I really enjoyed this toy a lot. I would say that any dildo beginner would.
