I have only used this toy with my hubby. It is definitely a toy that could be used for alone play as well, though. It is double ended, with one side to look like a penis, and the other side is more ribbed and curves up (or down, depending on how you hold it). I find the smoother end to be more comfortable, although the toy is pretty thin, so the ribbed side is not painful or irritating.

This dildo is made from Pure Skin, which feels so nice but is highly porous. It had a slight odor to it, sort of like latex gloves smell. When I first took it out of the package, I giggled a little when I felt it. It is SO soft and pretty floppy- it reminds me of a flaccid penis. It's a nice pink color- very girly. It came out of the package with a powdery coating (like a cornstarch). I wonder if the coating is where the smell came from, because it reminds me of the coating on the inside of latex gloves. Due to the coating, it is recommended that you clean the toy prior to first use (as always, anyway). It is a highly porous material that can hold on to germs and bacteria, so one should use it with a condom. Due to this quality, I personally would not recommend it for anal play (aside from the fact that there is no "base"). Also, it clearly always needs to be cleaned after each session and "antibacterialized" to keep it truly clean. The dildo is very soft and plushy and would be nice for a beginner. Due to the girth of the dildo, this would probably not be very satisfying for an advanced user.

The mini has two ends: one looks like a penis head, and the other is ribbed and curved. I imagine the curved side is for G-spot stimulation, and the other end is supposed to feel like a penis when inserted. I prefer the penis head, but its girth is somewhat disappointing for a penis. It works well with double penetration (anal and vaginal) and oral going on, but by itself, it doesn't do much for me just going in and out. The other end (ribbed and curved) is a little more uncomfortable for me to use, and I bet with some alone play and time, it could work in helping women access their G-spots. We have only used it together, though, so I have not tried it in that capacity. I like the double ended quality- it's like two dildos in one...you use which ever end suits your need at the time. The mini is pretty small, so it could easily travel, and there are no mechanics to it, so I don't think it would flag anything in security.

I loved that this toy is double ended...really allows for two choices in one toy. It is your standard dildo concept, so performance of the toy is really up to the user...how you manipulate the toy is going to ensure your satisfaction of the experience. I also really like the feel of the material and the soft and pliable quality of the mini.

Due to the material of the mini (Pure Skin), it actually requires a bit of maintenance for a non-mechanized toy. Since it is highly porous, it needs to be cleaned prior to use, and it is recommended by the manufacturer that you dust the mini with cornstarch after each use to prevent it from getting sticky. We have not followed through on this, and it has not yet affected the quality of the toy or made it "sticky." However, it is still relatively new. The toy needs to be cleaned with antibacterial cleaner after each use, so as to kill any germies that may be trapped in the pores. The mini can only be used with water based lubricants...Pure Skin materials are non-compatible with silicone, oil, or petroleum based lubricants, and it will damage the material. We keep it in a separate plastic bag from our other toys so as to not "contaminate" it...the porous quality makes me nervous that it will trap some ickies from somewhere else.
