This toy is excellent for vaginal use or temperature play. The "veins" make for fantastic stimulation as well, both internally and externally. Since it is non porous it does not absorb lube, and therefore gets (and stays) wet easily.

It does have a flared base, so it should be safe to use anally. Since it stays slippery it won't create fiction (which can be a pain the ass, literally). You can use your temp play to warm it up a little so that your muscles can relax, making it easier to insert.

I think this toy is great for anyone! This is my first time using glass, and it is one of those toys that is less forgiving material wise. It is solid. It is not flexible. It is possible to bruise your cervix if you thrust too hard with this toy, so be careful. Personally, this is something that is hard for me to do because I tend to really get into my toys. I did have a hard time not thrusting this deep and hard tonight. I had to try and keep it in the end of my vagina for a more shallow thrust.

If you do bruise your cervix, simply take it easy for a while. Maybe take a break from penetration for a few days and some tylenol to feel better. I have had this happen to me in the past, both from rough sex and less forgiving toys, and it is not fun.

The Gold Laced G is made of Pyrex glass. This makes it less likely to shatter due to temperature play. It is less dense than ordinary glass. It's also smooth and non porous, making it ideal for anyone who is concerned about material preferences. This also makes it possible to sterilize. You should always use a condom if sharing this toy, or switching orifices. The glass makes for an interesting feeling when heated or cooled. I personally liked how it felt cool, the first time I slipped it in. It was definitely a new experience! I love the ribbed type texture as well, this made for added stimulation.

I personally don't like nubs on toys; I had a bad experience with a rabbit style vibrator before. The nubs actually hurt me. So I was a little leery of this one at first (in fear that it would be painful) but I decided to give this a shot and see. I really like the texture, and I will be thinking of trying more textured toys again.

I'd like to elaborate on a few things. First off is temperature play. Why would I want to use temperature play, you ask? I asked the same thing when coming across this toy. After doing some research (and experimenting) I have found that temperature play adds added stimulation and sensation to your sex toy experience.

Warmth allows you to get going more quickly, since heat helps engorge any area it comes into contact with. Cold does the opposite, causing your blood vessels to constrict. It also 'calms' you down, so to speak. So you can imagine that switching between the two can get very interesting. More on that later.


Take care when freezing or boiling glass. Since Pyrex is a "softer" glass it should not shatter if it breaks, but you still want to use caution and avoid using extreme temperatures in any situation.

You do NOT want to use anything completely frozen internally. Wait until it has started to melt. After removing from the freezer, run cool water over the dildo until it thaws a little (look for condensation building up on the surface of the toy). The frost of the dildo could cause it to freeze to your skin (ever see A Christmas Story? When he got his tongue stuck on the flagpole? not good lol). An easier method to cool would be to skip the freezer altogether and simply run it in ice water for a little while.

As far as heat goes, you need to be very careful when experimenting. DO NOT microwave or "cook" your toy in the oven. Microwaving can leave hot spots causing the toy to be different temperatures in different spots. you do not want to stick it somewhere only to find out that it is 100* F ... and the oven, well, that is just extreme and dangerous.

I love the design of this toy. Upon taking it out of the package I was a little unsure, because I pictured it to be bigger. However, what this toy lacks in girth, it makes up for functionally. It is slightly curved at the tip to aim for the g spot. It did a great job of hitting mine. It's not flexible, seeing as it is made of glass, but since it is not that large it is easy to maneuver. The swirled shaft felt great, along with the coolness (literally) of the toy. Definitely a different experience that I very much enjoyed. I would recommend this toy for a first glass dildo, or a last one... or anywhere in between!

My favorite part about this toy is the material it is made out of- Pyrex. I have never had the cool sensation that this toy brought to me. I have tried cooling lubes, with no luck. But this really felt amazing!

The only issue I have with this toy is that I am scared of bruising my cervix, since I can get kind of rough.

This toy is very easy to care for. It comes with a silk and velvet pouch, for easy storage to prevent scratching. It is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. I use the good old fashioned warm soap and water approach. You can also use antibacterial toy cleaner or wipes. You can sterilize this toy by boiling it (be careful to let it cool before you touch it after) or giving it a soak in some Isopropyl alcohol.


It is compatible with silicone, oil or water lubes. I would take care when using this with other glass toys, since you don't want to do any damage to the toys or yourself. It would be great with a clitoral stimulator for dual sensations.

This toy came in a silk pouch. The pouch is silk on the inside, but velvet on the outside. It had no instructions, but I personally think it is pretty self explanatory. No batteries or complicated measures needed to enjoy yourself with this little nugget. The pouch does make for good storage, and is discreet. If someone were to see it they would have no idea what was in it.

Something that I have learned about glass dildos is that they are like snowflakes. They have to be made by hand, through a long process. This makes them unique. No two glass dildos will be the same. Some will vary in color, some will vary in texture, but two of the same style could be completely different.

I decided to take "Old Yeller" in the bath tub with me tonight. Best bath of my life. Once I learned about temperature play I decided to do some experimenting. First I ran it under the hot water for a few mins; wow was that ever an amazing feeling. When I think of "warm", I usually think of the burning sensation I get from warming lube. Not anymore. I think it is because it was causing my nerves/tissues to constrict and expand, creating an opposite effect of the previous feeling.

This toy made for a great first glass dildo experience. I am very pleased with it, and I look forward to buying more glass and textured toys. As soon as I slid this thing in me it was fantastic. The contrast between the chilled sensation of the glass versus heated was the coolest thing ever! Makes me happy I decided to step out of the box on this one and try something new :)
