G-spot dildo discontinued

Got Wood? I do now!

While I'm not sure if I'll buy another wooden toy, simply because I like weightier toys, I am happy that I gave this one a shot. I love the simplicity and the natural craftmanship that it offers. It's excellent for G-spotting, but the drag the wood has doesn't make it ideal for thrusting. If you like drag to your toys though, it might be perfect even for thrusting.

extremely useful review
I hadn't yet tried out a wooden toy before, so I was curious to give this one a try. I imagined the toy to have some heft to it, but wow was I wrong! This toy is so light it's almost unbelievable. It feels almost hollow, though it's solid. Having tried out some weighty toys recently, and liking them, I was a bit disappointed by how lightweight the toy is.

While the wood is lightweight, it's still a hard toy. I kind of felt it was more like plastic than glass, as it didn't get nearly as cold as glass gets. The weight is also about right for a plastic toy. Unlike most plastic toys though, this wooden dildo doesn't have much glide. It was kind of surreal how it felt almost realistic in the amount of drag it had to it. It doesn't look realistic, it doesn't feel realistic in the hands, but when used internally it almost does, which absolutely surprised me. Because of the glide, we didn't really like it as much for partner play. When my husband and I use toys during foreplay we like to do a lot of thrusting. I didn't like this dildo for thrusting at all. It just felt..odd. I know that's not a very good description, but I don't know what exactly about it I didn't like. I think it was just the curve to it and the drag. It required a lot of lube and even then the friction was more than what would be enjoyable. What was nice though, was taking it nice and slow. Using a rocking motion or a slight twirling motion. This is how I normally use toys when I'm alone, so this one, for me, works best as a solo toy or for putting on a show for my husband.

Now, I know I've compared this toy to plastic before, but this dildo, made from hardwood is so much better than plastic. It's made by hand from reclaimed wood and then covered with a body safe lacquer. The natural beauty of this toy is stunning, and there's just something about having a toy that's made from something so natural and not artificial that I really like. The little paper that comes with it says to wipe it down after use and then just wash it every once in a while, but I don't know about that. I feel much safer washing it after every use, and that's what I recommend. Just don't leave it sitting in water, it's okay to use it in the shower or bath, but just make sure it's not left to sit in the water since it could eventually mold. Between use it comes with a handmade velvet bag, which fits snugly over the dildo. I have to say, while this bag doesn't hide what the toy is at all (it's pretty form fitting), it's probably my favorite storage bag yet. I love simple and crafty things, and this bag is right up my alley!

As I mentioned above I recommend lubricant with this toy, and quite a bit of it. Both water based and silicone based lubricants are safe to use. When it's properly lubricated the smooth finish allows the toy to slip in easily, and the curve makes it almost a given that it's going to be able to reach and stimulate the G-spot. Rocking it in a come hither motion really does wonders for G-spot stimulation. The side that has the stronger curve is also the larger side, at 1 3/8" diameter. If you're not a fan of such a large curve, try the other side, that one is a bit thinner, at 1 1/4" in diameter, and is considerably less curved. If you want to use this for thrusting, I definitely recommend the lesser curved side. It's pretty long, so regardless of whether you like shallow insertion or like to feel fullness throughout the entire length of the vagina, this dildo has you covered.
