Sedeux Wave - strap-on dildo by Sportsheets - review by Tuesday

This dildo provides strong G-spot stimulation, but you will feel each nub. They are not subtle. Start slow.
The nubs may well be too much for those who aren't fans of texture.

A bullet can be inserted into the base for mild extra sensation.

It has a flared base, so it's both harness compatible and anal safe.

The wave is made of silicone. It has only a slight plastic-like scent, not enough to bother anyone.

It's made of a very firm silicone. The nubs are rounded, but pronounced.

It's phthalates-free, nonporous and hypoallergenic.

Use only water-based lubes with this toy. Silicone lubes will ruin it.

The Wave is five and a half inches long and four and three quarters inches in circumference at the widest part. Almost all of the length is insertable. Since it has firm nubs, it's a good thing that it's not any larger or they would exert even more pressure. Even if you prefer large toys, you will likely be glad that this one isn't big.

If the nubs weren't there, it would be a nice G-spot toy. The tip is curved and firm enough to rival Ella in performance.

It's an anal-safe toy, but I can't imagine that this would feel good anally - perhaps for those with a really sturdy backside.

The nubs. They are so prominent. And so firm. They will either provide excellent stimulation for the texture loving among us, or they'll just be too much. I have to be careful with it and use it slowly in order for it to feel good.

If I thrust too quickly with it, the nubs become irritating, making me feel like the area between my vagina and pubic bone is too thin. This area may be thinner on me than on other women - I have no idea - but almost no other toy brings this so glaringly to my attention.

During the first minute of use, the nubs feel good. The sensations are less nice as time goes on. After several minutes they are irritating.

There is a hole for a bullet in the base. This hole extends an inch and three quarters into the toy. Using the Wave with a bullet provides only modest vibrations near the base, but almost no extra sensation near the head. I wouldn't expect vibrations to travel that far. They don't.

It's easy to clean with soap and water. It is a lint magnet, however. You might want to store it in a plastic bag or in some way to prevent it from contacting pet hair and lint.

It can be sterilized by boiling or with a 10% bleach solution.

Use only water based lubes with the Wave.

It is shipped in plastic clamshell packaging with just the most basic product information printed on a glossy insert.

I had thought that I didn't like textured toys after using a few with textures that I found irritating. Recently I realized that the clear-ribbed G-spot wonder, a heavily textured toy, doesn't bother me at all, even though the nubs on that glass toy are hard and abundant. Maybe tolerance for textures is a fickle thing. Too bad the Sedeux Wave exceeds my limits.
