Deuce 1 - strap-on dildo by Tantus - review by Robin Goodfellow

This toy is designed with a strap on in mind. It can effectively be used as a stationary dildo/ vibrator as well, but it lacks any real handle, and so any grip you can get will compromise length. It's moderately anal safe with its flared base, but for my taste the flare is a tad to small to completely relinquish all concerns.

Crafted out of a pearly pink 100% body safe silicone. On a 1 to 10 scale of density, I would rate this a 6. Though soft enough, it's a little on the firmer side when it comes to getting pegged with a double headed dildo. However, a gloss texture aids in its slippery passage.

The design is interesting enough; essentially a two tiered penis. An archetypal cock with a secondary, exaggerated, phallic ridge wrapping the shaft half way down. The size is average enough for anyone to take. Though experience will determine the tempo of play. The secondary ridge is quite a hurdle as the speed of thrusting is increased. So I would recommend this for intermediate to advanced users. And as if this toy wasn't already interesting enough, Tantus added a receptacle in the base for a bullet vibrator (which is included), which just makes everything a little bit more interesting. With a flared base, it works for a strap on, though I question Tantus's judgment on size. This dildo has a ridiculously small base on a decently endowed toy. It does work, it's just a pain because the head is only insignificantly smaller than the flared base. So you gotta be a cowboy to wrangle the ring on in short notice.

I found the best use for this toy was to be used anally with a strap on. The vibrations are ample enough to coax you along as you juggle seemingly endless obstacles, ups and downs, push push in and pull pull out. The base was a slightly flimsy but workable. Vaginally, my girlfriend found the second ridge of the dildo to grate her pubic bone too firmly and wrote it off altogether, since she is slightly less anally adventurous as well. The two tiered vibrating dildo was just overwhelming and "unromantic" to her. I agreed with the first claim.

Silicone; like always, only use water based lubes. For cleaning, I like to boil for 3 to 5 minutes, but you can also throw it in the dishwasher or dip it in a bleach and water solution.

I had hoped the ridges of the heads would massage the prostate. But with no curve in the shape it isn't ergonomic enough to reach it simply. To make contact it requires one to assume positions that angle the dildo in diagonally, which felt good on the prostate, but it was just too much torque on the hole itself with such a sheer angle and the double heads. I will continue to experiment with this further, but would also like to find a similar double ridged design that had some curve shape to it.
