Uses: My favorite use for this toy is to warm it up to body temperature and use it for vaginal penetration and a little clit-teasing. Its shape is perfect for g-spot stimulation! It is also safe for temperature play (the refrigerator or some warm water will get it to the desired temperature) and anal penetration.

Material/Texture: Icicles No. 21 is made out of borosilicate glass. It is food-grade, hypoallergenic, latex-free, phthalates-free, and nonporous. It’s compatible with any lubricant and can safely be boiled, bleached (with a 10% bleach/90% water solution), or run through the dishwasher; however, soap and water will usually suffice for cleanup. It’s also safe for anal play. No. 21 is smooth except for the raised flower design; I did not feel the flower while I was using it, so for most intents and purposes, I’d say that this is a smooth toy. Due to its texture, I generally do not need lubricant to insert it.

If you are new to glass, don’t be intimidated! Glass is amazing. This toy can be warmed, cooled, and sterilized. Cracks and breaks are possible if you drop it from a height, but highly unlikely – just be sure to inspect it carefully if you do drop it.

Design/Shape/Size: Icicles No. 21 is an eight-and-a-half-inch-long, slim-to-moderate-width, curved dildo with a harness-compatible base. The curve is S-shaped, and I would not describe it as extreme or slight – you’ll have to refer to the pictures. It has a pointed, bulbous head which hits my g-spot perfectly. This is probably my favorite dildo out of the six I own, due mainly to the shape. If you are concerned about the inflexibility of the material, consider whether this shape is one you’ll enjoy – I adore it, but you may not. Also remember that glass can feel bigger than it is (due to the weight) – I usually prefer thicker dildos, but with glass, 1” to 1 1/2” is just fine!

Performance: Woohoo! As I mentioned earlier, this is probably my favorite dildo out of my six due to shape and material. It hits all the right spots for me, and I enjoy glass very much. While using it, I typically find myself gripping it with my vagina, to the point where it is difficult to withdraw the bulbous tip entirely before I’m satisfied (Noooo, come back, my precious! I won’t let you go!)

The one drawback to using this toy is that I dislike cold dildos, so I have to warm it up before using it. I do this either by sticking it near a heat source for several minutes or running it under hot water for ten or twenty seconds – I’m not usually looking to warm it up beyond body temperature. After that, it stays warm – glass absorbs body heat very quickly, which feels fantastic.

This dildo is harness-compatible (I did not try it with a harness, though). The base is oval and the edges are curved rather than squared-off – please refer to the pictures. You should probably consider, though, that most people have problems with glass in harnesses because of its weight and texture (it could slip out and fall) and because it's pretty unforgiving if you want to really ram into your partner. It could possibly be suction-cup-compatible if you found a cup small enough.

Care and Maintenance: I clean this toy with soap and water, and I inspect the grooves around the design to make sure they’re squeaky-clean. You can also disinfect this toy with antibacterial soaps or toy cleansers, boiling water, the dishwasher, or even a 10% bleach/90% water solution. I store it in its original packaging, which is secure and should keep it safe if I drop it.

Packaging: This toy is packaged beautifully (though NOT discreetly) in a cardboard box with a shiny and matte finish that just screams of luxury. It would be excellent for gift-giving. The front panel on the box has a magnetic closure and opens to reveal a plastic-covered view of the product. The product is nestled into a form-fitting foam lining, making the box perfect for long-term storage – though it does take a few moments to remove, so you may want to have it out of its packaging before you start your activities.

Personal Comments: I love this toy and would recommend it to anyone who likes a curved dildo, glass, or pretty toys!

The only thing I regret is purchasing this toy in front of my friends, who, upon getting out of the toy store and back into the bar, grabbed my new pretty, took it out of the packaging, and passed it around to admire. Sigh. Apparently I’m not the only one who thought it was gorgeous.

Yep, this is still awesome several months after the purchase. I even had my first g-spot orgasm with this toy! It's probably my favorite toy ever. I don't use it as often as I do my bedside vibrator (Mia by Lelo), but I still enjoy it at least as much as I did before. It's even higher-quality than my Mia.
