It Ain't the Boss of Me
Here's the deal (again) with this toy: it could easily be the sex toy love of your life or your vagina/asses' nightmare. Quite frankly, I can say that you're either going to love it or you're going to...not like it. I am the latter.

Cons
The lip of the toy hurt on insertion
Here are the great things about this toy: it's harness compatible - good for my gay-ass self), it's silicone (very safe material), and it's made by a trusted company of high-quality toys.
Here's the bad thing about this toy: Ow. Just...ow. I got this toy because of curve and the lip of the realistic toy. Now, I'm not usually one for realism, but I was willing to make an exception for a toy that looked so promising. The Boss had too much of a good thing; it was a g-spot stimulator to the max - and I mean to the *max.* When I inserted the toy it was incredibly uncomfortable, I could feel the toy hit my urethra; when I pulled it out it got stuck behind my pubic bone. So, really, I wasn't able to pull it out. The smart thing to do would have been to angle the toy down to avoid the popping sensation I got when I thrusted, but I wasn't thinking clearly. It was late and I was hoping to jack-off quickly so I didn't take neccesary precautions, like angling it the correct way.
So, I tried it again, knowing full well that I'd need to push down on the toy instead of drawing it straight out or keeping the curve upright. I still experienced the popping sensation and the slight pain around my urethra. I found that the only way I was able to get pleasure out of this toy was by rocking it up and down. I'm a sucker for A-spotting the heck out of my vag and I wasn't able to do this with the boss.
It's not hard silicone like some - most - of the Pleasure Works toys, but it was firm enough that I felt everything as though it was a solid, thick toy (think Bad Dragon when you're trying to imagine the levels of firmness in a toy).
I was also disappointed that the toy's size was uniform; I prefer toys that taper up.
All that being said, this is the perfect toy for strap-on sex, with all sorts of penetration, and it has a flared base, so that you can stick it up your bum without it disappearing, never to be found again until you have a super-duper embarrassing x-ray then are promptly whoosed off to surgery. Woot!
The smell is like pretty much every other silicone toy I've used--which is quite reassuring, I must say! While it doesn't feel realistic, it is clearly meant to look like a dick. A dick with a massive curve and two large veins, as realistic as that can be. The material being silicone made me feel better knowing that I wasn't putting something toxic up my vag, quite reassuring.
The texture is typical silicone, which may not say too much, judging by how different silicone toys can be. However, I can assure you that you will need much, much lube because this bad boy sucks it up like there's no tomorrow.
The size is adequate. Slightly larger than a dick, certainly larger than, say, the Mustang, but smaller than the Pleasure Works Captain. The curve isn't what gave me g-spot stimulation. Rather, it was the lip on the top of the dildo, at the end of the curve, clearly meant to look like a real penis.
I'd say the size of the Boss is definitely too large for beginners or people who are used to smaller toys. However, if you have a massive dildo that you're dying to try, the Boss may be a good dildo to use when you're working your way up to said toy.
I say with confidence that although this toy wasn't the right one for me, it could very well be the toy for you, if you take all I said into consideration. I was pretty darn sure I'd like, no, *love* the Boss; I was very wrong about what it would do for my body. It wasn't the curve of the dildo that stimulated my G-spot, in a certain sense; rather, it was the lip at the *end* of the curve that hit the spot. Still, I was quite disappointed that it hurt going in, because that meant that I couldn't thrust hard and fast enough to stimulate my A-spot.
