Is it a decoration... or more? The Sweet Candy Cane may leave you guessing. This holiday item is a glass dildo. It may trade some functionality for form, but it can serve some needs. It can be used for both vaginal and anal penetration. The curve of the candy cane acts as a safety for those who may use this toy anally. Because it is glass, it is best to go slow when using it, especially the first couple of times. This is because glass is unyielding and you can bruise your cervix and other bits if not careful!

It is also one of the best options for temperature play since it can hold heat and cold well. This toy is fairly discreet, especially around the holidays. The Sweet Candy Cane is not realistic at all; it's a large glass candy cane! It would have been cool if they made the clear glass an opaque white to better match a candy cane. There is no overt odor or taste to the Candy Cane. The texture is completely smooth. Before use, always check the toy for any nicks or defects. The good thing is that this toy is not likely to shatter if it breaks; it will instead break into large chunks.



The toy is completely solid and unyielding. It will offer direct pressure and stay wherever you put it. This toy is okay for beginners, but I'd recommend other, more friendly options for those just getting into glass. More advanced users may want something at offers a more ergonomic use as well.

The Candy Cane comes packaged in a red, velvet drawstring pouch. It is discreet. This one didn't have bubble wrap with it, which is usually how glass toys comes wrapped by Eden. Still, the brown paper in the shipping box kept the toy from moving around and potentially breaking. The pouch can easily be used as long term storage. This is an okay gifting item.

I've had a few glass toys in my day (like I'm a dinosaur). I think the Candy Cane is the 7th glass toy I have owned. I stack it toward the end of my glass toy collection. It's not that the toy is bad as much as it isn't that awesome. For example, one of my favorites is the nubby G wand. It is dual ended, versatile, and offers lots of options for play. The Candy Cane, in contrast, it pretty monotone. It's a cute item during the holidays and playtime then, but it's more fun to look at than use. At least for me.

Still, for the price I got it, it was a good deal. If anything, you got yourself a decoration!
