This Mr. Big is a great vibrator. The material is soft and safe and the vibes are strong. Beginners may find the size a bit intimidating, but experienced users won't be disappointed. Made for vaginal use, this toy does not have a large or flared base for anal use. I'm sure not brave enough to use it there anyway, but others may be more adventurous and I would advise against it. Other than that, the vibes feel great any where on your body, and the smooth material feels great against the skin.

This vibe is made from medical grade silicone, so it is not porous at all. This makes it body safe as you can sterilize it and it will not harbor bacteria. There is no smell or taste, and it feels softer than the rubber dong I have. There is some texture to this but it is not too much. The ridges are nice and not irritating, so beginners who can handle the size should be all right using this. There is a big wide head with some definition, but not enough to give that "pop" some women like. The ridges kind of look like wrinkles, but as you go further down the shaft, you see it is made to look like a man's six pack abs. I found this a bit odd, but hey, it feels good, so no big deal. The ridges can be easily felt, but they do not overwhelm.

As for the firmness, it is not as rigid as my rubber dildo, which is nice. It isn't too floppy, but is flexible enough to so you aren't going to hurt your self thrusting with this big toy.

I do like the design, though like I said, the six pack abs were a bit odd. Without looking too closely, it looks like a real penis. This toy is bigger than it looks. Not only is it 7 and 1/2 inches insertable, but it has a generous width of 1 and 1/2 inches. Now, that width measurement is from the side. When I measured it from the front, it looks almost 2 inches wide across the head. This is because it is not uniformly round, but almost flattened a little. As you get down to the base of the toy, it gets rounder, but going up towards the head it flattens a bit. I like this shape, as it is different from other vibes I have had. It comes with a silver drawstring pouch, but taken out of that, you will not be able to pass this one off as a massager. This is one big penis, so hiding it and traveling with it may prove difficult.

The controls are located on the bottom of the toy, where you put the 2 AA batteries in. The turn dial moves easily from the off position to low, gradually moving through medium to get to the highest setting. The vibrations are centered under the head of the shaft but are felt easily through the whole thing. I did find that using the tip of the head didn't do as well to get pin point stimulation, but inserted it felt great. I did find that if you have any lube or juices on around the controls or on your hands, it makes it hard to get a grip and adjust the intensity during play. As for the noise, this line of toys is the quietest I have ever heard for vibes of this strength.

This toy was originally listed as waterproof, but that has since been changed to splash proof. I did a water test when I first got it, turning it on and placing it in a sink full of water. It held up well, but I won't be taking this in the tub with me for fear of messing it up.

The only gripe I have about this vibe is the way it picks up hair and lint, and how hard it is to keep clean. Silicone is great for having a germ free toy, but it holds onto a lot of other stuff. I live with a lot of dogs, so hair always finds a way of sticking to this toy. Even with the bag it came with, it picks up fibers from that. The silicone doesn't feel sticky, but for some reason, it is hard to keep clean. I am good about cleaning my toys after I use them, but sometimes you don't feel like getting up and cleaning them BEFORE you use them.

Another thing that makes it hard to clean is the ridges collect stuff too. Whether it is lube, soap, residue from my toy cleaner, or the toy wipes I have no idea. When I take it from the bag, no matter what I used to clean it prior, there is always some dried flaky stuff in the ridges. Also, the most annoying, is the "cracks" in the end where you turn it on and hold on to it. If stuff gets in there, you will be finding yourself using a tooth pick to clean out the ridges. I can see this getting pretty nasty over time if I get to lazy to deal with that every time.

Only water based lubes should be used with silicone, and you should store it in its own bag.
