Prickler - glass wands discontinued by Pyrexions - review by ToyTimeTim

I always try to make my orders hit that $59 mark so that I can get the free shipping, so after selecting the Night nurse for my wife I went looking for something to round it out. I found this cool wand made from Pyrex glass. Funny how it looks like a thermometer, eh? I just knew that I had to have this toy to go with the outfit. Even if it was twice as much as I needed to get free shipping.

This wand could be considered a double ended toy but for safety reasons I did not use the ball end. (See experience)

8" of clear glass with 16 blue nubs (1/8" tall) that cover the first 1 1/2" or so and a 1 1/8" (1 3/4" circumference) ball at the end. So that gives us about 7" of a 3/4" diameter shaft that can be inserted. Sure it is not going to give the size king/queen a big thrill but still, a nice way to explore the body cavities and the body itself. It is even nice for some light massage and or teasing.

Mine looks different from the product page as it does not have a blue ball, but if you hold it with the nubs up, looking down the shaft, it will look like it is. Just shows how clear the glass is and the quality/workmanship. When held so that you are looking through the toy from the ball end I get a kaleidoscope like affect from the blue nubs. Damn, I love glass.

Any kind of lube will work; water, oil, or silicone based. The nice thing about glass is that you will not need much.

For cleaning I use a toy cleaner but you can use anything you like; boil it for 5 min., 10% bleach solution, top rack of your dish washer, hell just some soap and water will get the non-porous glass clean. Just remember to sanitize before sharing with a different love hole or partner.

This wand came to me in a plain, white cardboard box. Inside the wand had plenty of tissue paper wrapped around it for shipping. I saved the box and tissue paper for the holidays coming up and store it in a pouch. Bummer it did not come with one.

So some might say that it does not really have a big enough base to use anally but we have to remember that this is glass, no give, no flex and strait as an arrow. Even curved toys can be hard for me to get much more than six inches, unless it is silicone. Even if you could take it all in, there is nothing for you ass to grab to pull it in. Now if you turn it around, I am sure that if you could get in the 8" the nubs will give the anus something to grab and it could possibly go where it should not.

That being said, I still recommend a firm grip and caution using it in your ass. Better yet, have a partner take your temperature; it can be more fun that way. Care should also be used in the vagina as well; we do not want to bruise anything.

So our night of nurse play was very stimulating, both for the eyes and our body's. For the wife I used the nubs to gently stimulate her clit and vulva. I did try to do some light stroking in her vagina but her damn sensitive "pubic bone from hell" would not have it. The ball makes for a nice handle but could be a bit bigger so my hand does not cramp up. Furthermore, due to the small size it does not hold temperatures well but does warm to body temperature fast. It warms me up very well though.

Aside from that, I found no cons with this wand and highly recommend it to begging and advanced users alike.

This has turned out to be a fun warm up toy and the wife even likes it on occasion. The small diameter makes it so that the nubs are not uncomfortable and used anally feel quite good on the prostate.

I feel that this would be a good choice for users that want to try some glass with some texture. The small diameter and the nubs only covering the first 1 1/2" makes for a good first foray into the textured glass scene.
