Pink jelly teaser - dildo discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by ~LaUr3n~

The Pink Jelly Teaser was one of the first things I wanted to purchase at Eden Fantasys because it was so cheap. I was inexperienced with dildos and it had decent reviews. Thank god I didn't get it then because it may have turned me off to sex toys forever! I got this to see if it would be a good prize at a party. After experimenting with it, I think its okay for the gag gift purpose, but I would never recommend it to anyone wanting to try toys for the first time. Spending a little more money is worth the better experience. If you are on a tight budget and have no other choice, then this dildo is good for beginners, but make sure you have a supply of condoms to use with it. It is too floppy for good anal play, but it actually surprised me with how good it felt for vaginal penetration. It isn't good for o-ring use as advertised. If you are looking for a strap-on this is also too floppy.

I'm not sure if the one in the picture was sitting around and collected dust before the picture was taken, but the one I received doesn't look or feel matte of velvety like the one in the picture appears that it would. I opened the package and was hit with a familiar smell...car gas mixed with hydraulic fluid, chemicals, and oil. It smelled like I was in a closed garage in high heat working on my antique Plymouth Valiant. Not a good smell! It lingers even after closing the package and stays on your skin even after washing your hands!

The dildo is made of semi-clear pink jelly (which looks different than the picture). Jelly is a poly vinyl chloride that is extremely porous and not very safe for the body. I recommend using a condom even if you are not sharing. Jelly breaks down with time and can actually burn you with the harmful toxins that it will begin to emit. The dong is very semi-firm but flexible and the material is very sticky. Leaving it out of the package long enough to smell it already caused it to collect dust.

There are currently two versions of this. 4 3/4" version for $6.99 and a 4 1/4" version for $7.99. I of course picked the bigger one since it is cheaper. I thought it was weird. Well now it makes sense...I still received the little one. So you have to select the opposite of what you want to get the size you choose.

So, even though I ordered the larger version, I got the smaller one which is 4 1/4" long and about 3 3/4" of insertable length. The shaft has a semi-phallic shaped head and two ridges that stick out. The circumference of the shaft where there are no ridges is 3", the ridges are 3 1/2". The length and thickness of the shaft allows for a wide range of flexibility which actually proves to be negative for performance in more than one way. The size seems small but it is able to provide some stimulation.

This toy isn't great for travel unless you keep the package. It collects a lot of dust and so it needs to be kept in the package when not in use.

The Pink Jelly Teaser is a fitting name. It leaves you unsatisfied. For vaginal stimulation I wasn't expecting anything at all, but it actually ended up feeling pretty nice. Without the ridges I don't think it would do much at all, but the ridges feel good for thrusting and since the toy is small and flexible, I wasn't worried about thrusting as fast as I wanted.

It is horrible for anal however. The flexible shaft make it hard to insert and even worse to penetrate, I prefer something a bit more solid than this dildo. It looks like it would be good for a strap on but this isn't true either it is much too small and floppy. This dildo is really only good for experimentation for a beginner if they have no extra money to upgrade to a better dildo.

Hopefully you are using a condom with this toy and you can just give it a quick rinse. If not, make sure to wash multiple times with warm water and soap. You can use any kind of lubricant and I would recommend this. Store it in the package since it collects dust easily. If you don't have the package you need to keep this away from other toys, it will cause melting.

The package is a simple plastic one. It is slightly larger than the toy and has two pictures of a female on it. She is actually clothed surprisingly. There is very little information on the package. Just a few tips for cleaning.

I am giving the Pink Jelly Teaser 2 stars. I'd give it three if it didn't smell so bad or wasn't as sticky, but unfortunately those two things are huge turn offs for me.
